#monsoonrains
Upon the rain-kissed earth doth Sāvan dance, With clouds that bear love’s soft advance; A fragrant hush the breezes weave, And tales lie hid where the mountains breathe. Beneath bright umbrellas, smiles unfold, While silver drops their dreams have told; Through every nook a whisper sings, Of love’s new song the West wind brings. When monsoon days in colours gleam, And joy descends like a tender dream, The flowers converse with winds so fair— With thee beside, all hearts take wing.🌧️🌿 Through mist-clad vales the rivers roam, Each seeking out its crystal home; The sky inscribes, in passion’s art, Thy memory deep in every heart. In twinkling nights the stars lie drenched, In hues of hope and hearts unquenched; O’er lofty peaks the soft clouds fly— Why do these bonds so mystic lie? When monsoon days in colours gleam, And joy descends like a tender dream, The flowers converse with winds so fair— With thee beside, all hearts take wing. 🌿✨

When Whispers of "Monsoon Rain" Awakens the Western Ghats
The sight of rain, of wet clothes, wet plants, wet doorsteps, wet hopes and dreams, and, that known scent of sadness and grief all these...create soggy, sluggish minds we just lost two dogs to the virus the glum of monsoon rains affects the moods the "yays" from cancelled classes have all passed... sun is shining, not too bright, though, peeps like a tease, but, enough to dry the ground... i see vacant lots...almost naked now motor's droning hum is a lullaby that lulls the mind a strong smell stirs the nostrils and defines a welcome pleasance... i sniff....and chase away sadness, with this intriguing scent .....of freshly cut grass....
