#misfortunes
Luck is not on my side Though I am good A pretty rough divorce Friendship breakups Numerous misunderstandings Not picking up social cues Been through it all God not answering my call! Luck is not on my side Betrayed by somebody Who was once a best friend Made to feel like a nobody Ghosted for an innocent Facebook comment Guilty until proven innocent!! Luck is not on my side I've had a tough ride In spite of being sweet Always tasting defeat Be it at work Or outside work!! Luck is not on my side Never been able to take the lead Though forever learning Not to mention, improving To me, India hasn't been kind Messing up with my mind Over and over again So much pain for no gain!! Luck is not on my side Where am I bad As far as character is concerned? Please be bold And tell it to my face Should get me out of a bad phase!! Luck is not on my side When will this end? I've been a patriot But it's gone to waste It's time for me To finally break free And switch my loyalties Maybe to our neighbours Or even better, our old colonialists Yes, luck is not on my side But I'm switching sides Then luck will finally be on my side!!

Luck Is Not On My Side
And so should the strongest Make love to the link worn delicate? In that communion, As one to another companion, We seal the cracks & breaks That have started to leak. We bind what made us weak. We champion truth And honor accuracy; Don your hood, But don't go robbing. Love passionately, but love gently. Do so with forthright honesty, Do not play at it or fake it Lest you forsake it. From what seems as less than We shall reveal the hidden, As a marvelous miracle unwinding. It's all perspective, For though I think them no greater They are more than certainly my equals. I would live for them as I would die for them, One & all.

Benjamin Rush As Lay
The Creator doesn't give us misfortunes HE is very merciful Be grateful Think clearly Only humans are responsible for pain, sadnesses and sorrows Sometimes they harm themselves Sometimes they harm others Misdeeds ruin life

HE loves us
Tied out laces, dirt on all our faces We can't fit in with the crowd: Uneven teeth, dried out lips Do we ever feel a bit proud? Empty pockets, plenty of losses As our problems echo so loud. _They don't see us; as we see them all._ Torn out socks, shoes with rocks Kicked by the foot of life: Bleeding noses, and dead roses Our gardens never survive: Living divided, we're all misguided At the edge of a sharp knife. _They don't see us; as we see them all._ __Look at us!__ They think they're better driving fancy cars, __Look at us!__ They think they're better spending chips at bars, __Look at us!__ They think they're better buying off the people, __Look at us!__ They think they're better treating us less than equals, __Look at us!__ They think they're better with their ass' sunlit, But even if you try to hide it; we all go through some _shït._ _We are the misfortunate;_ _Who missed good fortunes_ _We are ringing in your head?_ But do you ever hear us calling?

They don't see us (Look at us!)
As a child Down by the railway sidings Hidden behind We watch an ashen man with a painted ***** The silver could feed us for a week And she laughs as I cry In the face of youths first love The vibrating rail Is an ode to the loveless love

Misfortunes of virtue
I do not want tomorrow to come Today was bad But tomorrow is going to be worse Spilled cups of tea awaits me Overboiled milk is just around the corner Burnt eggs, papercuts, hitted pinky toes All the small misfortunes That make my life unbearable One over another, One over another, One over another, Heavy piles of obsticles Burden my shoulders But all this is just in my head.
