#meteor
This heart is a meteor & you are a dream Entranced by space dust & frozen air Foreign elements catch aflame in transit Black holes & supernovas explode As this meteorite decends I drop from the dark heavens just to be closer to you Fading memento of our warm embraces I hold in the depths of my frigid soul Earthbound gravity bottoms out Falling headlong into a sky of disaster Striped gardened fields & waterways Pull the focus further into view Second by grueling second the meteoric face begins to burn into inferno status A tail of fire trails across the thinning atmos Even Hell's breath would cease if only for a moment Just to see you once again, my Earthling Friend

Meteor shower
your love feels borrowed starlight now, dimmed at the edges, faded from lighting skies that were never mine. the nicknames you gave me don’t sound like constellations to me anymore, just fragments of old galaxies, still glimmering with the fingerprints of those who came before. and when you speak them, the universe inside me winces. the bitter taste of dust from your other worlds - other women, clinging to the syllables i once thought were sacred. your touch is a meteor now. beautiful, but falling too fast and leaving a sickness in my body. and yet… i keep looking for your light the way the moon follows after the sun, even knowing its glow was never hers alone. i hurt, but i still turn toward you like a planet bound by old gravity, hoping you’ll be the one to pull me back into orbit and not let me drift any farther into the dark.

STAR WORN
we heard them talking about a meteor shower expected later that night highly anticipated set to accompany the rust red supermoon that we caught following us home lay down upon blankets a meagre effort to provide at least a little comfort while we witnessed this astral magnificence the significanceof which none of us was certain childishly imagining a spectacle from the dazzling of shooting stars trailing tails like fireworks pointing in wonder appearing briefly before burning out instead we found ourselves staring up at one of those countless spots of white slowly unenthusiastically drifting across the stratosphere it could be a meteor maybe just an aeroplane or simply a twinkling trick of the light yet still we watched without excitement without direction without relevance

I looked up and saw the meteors in my daddies eyes fiery dreams that had been held up by a wish and a prayer I saw his disappointment that the show ended too soon but perhaps one day there'll be a time for us to shoot the moon

The heartbroken girl smiled after ages... For the meteor shower up in the dark sky... Across the hillside taught her... "𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓫𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓪 𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓬𝓮𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓲𝓯𝓾𝓵...! "

Meteor shower!
Hit me with that difference between nodes and cores and processors, between being me and being sure. Tell me again how to calculate it, I missed the first time, don’t shout-- remind me the difference between comets and asteroids and meteors, and how computers and space are not the same because to me it’s all voids-- the Perseids could be anything as long as I get to watch something else burn as it falls.

Day 151
If the galaxy came down in a tempest And all the stars fell in the rain I’d bottle up a supernova And send it off your way. Every morning during breakfast I’d drink the Milky Way And if ever the galaxy falls anew We can barricade the storm drains.

Meteor Shower
When we talk about meteor shower There are so many perspectives to look unto But there is one perspective that I really like And that is showing its brilliance In a very short time Yet it lingers to our hearts Jumping our souls up Deeply appreciating how beautiful night is Be that kind of meteor shower in other people's lives Give a tiny spark in their lives In anyway you want And I assure you That person, Will appreciate how beautiful life is

Meteor shower
Baby, we're a meteor and we killed the dinosaurs. We scorched the Earth and turned all that was into ash. Time has passed, and not much has changed. To this day, I find myself studying the fossils and wandering what could have been if we had landed smoothly.

I soar like a meteor directly into your heart but the closer I get, the more I begin to crumble and lose myself to you. Smaller and smaller until I'm but a pebble barely making a noise upon your window.

Meteor
It was the middle of the night when the power went out. My body accustomed to an ambient electrical hum refused sleep. I got up, and you followed just like always. We walked to the top of the hill where we lived at the time We've moved four times since that night. We walked, your collar's gentle sonance conflicting with the silence. When we reached the peak we stood, our small world lit only by the moon. We beheld the great expanse of the shy quiet stars that usually hid behind the light pollution. The milky spill of a spiral galaxy, where we lay spinning on its periphery, backlit the countless trails of fire courtesy of the Perseids. And I thought there have been more nights without street lights than nights of human history. These flaming trails of ice and dust, these remnants of comets, would exist despite those of us lucky enough to bear witness that night the power went out.

Outage
The world has stopped spinning. God is going to toss a stone, And it is going to change everything. Change does not wait for anyone, And it is not going to wait for you. God is going to toss a stone, Watch it crush your bones. Feed us to the maggot queen. We will carry her eggs, And when they hatch, They will eat the nest. There will be nothing left The beasts of the forests, And the fowls of the air. Shall devour us. The ***** of the earth, Shall be burnt in a devouring fire, And swallowed up by the earth's crust. There will be nothing left of us. If we continue to live like this, Then we are going to die like this!

To **** With A Stone
If you ask me, he lit the match that set the Moon on fire It’s not a myth; I was there, when I had no home And I walked in Saturn’s ring rain for so long it sloughed off my skin I marched, trying to flatten the crater I’d made Because I was ashamed of it I was the last meteor to hit his heart; the loudest But that was so long ago The quietest revolutions are usually the most violent If you ask him, I smelled like Genesis and Revelation from the inside ******* insatiable I slathered honey on my cheeks and boiled my blood so hot until my arteries turned charred black I licked my wounds from the impact and discovered just what the hell was poisoning me If you ask me, I didn’t know him last night and I won’t know him on the last night But my God, he inspires me

Genesis and Revelation
I am a meteor Not for you to enjoy Because you are the atmosphere And I would burn up for getting too close As I pass by I see you smile deep in your sleep A smile that lights the canyon lines And I wonder who you are dreaming of As I pass by the second time You are on your porch, glass of wine at hand I had to hold back every desire And not to race to the front of your door As I pass by the last time You are in someone's arms I wonder if I have to dive down to earth Burning up doesn't seem so bad now

Meteor
On most nights the sky is my sanctuary I feel safe and still Laying under the stars Meteor showers Leave me refreshed; inspired Engulfed in the beauty of our universe Not tonight I feel intimidated By the empty spaces Between the stars It reminds me Of the empty spaces In my heart I look to the sky To find peace of mind My celestial sanctuary Not tonight All I see is chaos As streaks of light Chase each other through the sky My mind is crumbling Bit by bit With each falling star

Meteors
Let's burn down the bridges and shootup the stars wondering if, we'll ever get far Dragging our tails our feet through the mud washing our hands, covered in blood The world trying to **** us Hawking told us too leave this is something, I truly believe Ever the end is nigh and near comet, pandemic return bacterial death or simply, too burn Pack up your bags search all that you know no way to get there, nowhere to go

Moving to Mars, opening Bars
Tell me that it's love that i'm feeling. if it's not I fear my heart can't take much more. I can't take my eyes off you, yet i know the reason I won't leave is in your eyes. I know it's love that I'm feeling, even though we haven't been together in so long. Your eyes still sparkle the same, like watching a meteor shower I'm caught in awe. I swear you've never looked so good so much better than anyone should, after they tore away my heart. I can't take my eyes away from you still. If I survive another night, I know that I can get over you. I once had that lovin' feeling from you, but now I'm gone still dreaming... still dreaming of those meteor showers.

Meteor Showers.
Rocks go by they bounce, and fly In and out of atmosphere Larger stones that think us home Crash, and burn and die Every day, adventure as another whizzes past May not know, when, or where but blast it all to hell You can be **** sure we'll all know Just what happens last
