Self-doubt
Forgo my fate.
I am not destined for anything great.
Persevere
This too shall pass.
Time heals by eventually; nothing ever lasts.
Ephemeral
My body, my temple,
Rough-hewn from Earth- my motive scattered in dust.
Apprehension
When do I stumble, where do I fall?
It’s too good to be true; naught ever fares this fair.
Spell failure
He who plunges up retires to ground.
Lighter the feather dawns; heavier digs the crown.
Relentlessness
Girt bones to ashes.
Linger in comfort- repent forever.
Impetuous
Turn tail uninvited harbingers.
Don’t count the haystacks whilst the coffin’s still in production.
Consolation
Gone with the wind, the tiny whisper of dream.
It’s all noise- distorted untrue, lost forever in the undo.
Steadfast
What say my nay-sayers?
All in favour, give the proximal precipitous cliff a good tumble.
Cynicism
Life splashes you free lemonade, surprises overdue.
Ill omens begone; in lieu the advent, my prudent ordeal's here.

Here’s how you gain prosperity
Pick the type of person you’ll be
In picking, keep your mind intact
Don’t be acted upon, but act
Look around at great ones you know
Their successes easily show
That this one maxim they enact
Don’t be acted upon, but act
When trying on the victim stance
Or feeling passive, take a chance
Stay on task - remember this fact
Don’t be acted upon, but act
Don’t rely on muscles and brawn
Do act - not be acted upon
Memorize this, and never go back
Don’t be acted upon, but ACT

The writer’s job
is to build the words,
not perform for applause
or join cheap cliques.
The printed word, baby,
that’s the nervous anticipation
for the 300 pound *****
who ***** the best ****
Words are the hit of whiskey
after the sun drops
below the buildings.

You can only do so much to do right with no guidance, to quickly do wrong.

For i have found myself basking in sin,
i ask those who share this to come forth,
stand with me,
for who walks this earth as an innocent,
pray.
No man, no woman, no child,
no one of this title,
no matter the stature of them,
no matter the wealth they posses or lack.
For the divine see all,
and in seeing all they see the dark buried in all light,
as a grain of sand casts a shadow when confronting the sun,
just as we all have sin.
