#lioness
I want to scream my deepest fear
Uncover my deepest sin
Admit my wrongdoings
But the ice under me
Is very thin
The lion inside of me
Who scars the jungle
And fight an army of angry men
Can't fight the loneliness anymore
Or the sadness, deeper within
His lioness has gone
His lioness has left the den

Sometimes I’m laughing at my own loneliness
But in my head I’m fierce like a lioness

Women were made to roar.
So don't tell us to calm down.
We'll shake and howl,
And then stand proud
As we fix each other's crowns.
Women were made to speak.
So don't silence us when we scream.
We'll stomp and rave,
And then release
The lioness within- Strong & Brave.
Women were made to lead.
So don't pretend we won't.
We'll rise and march,
And carry on fiercely,
Every sister rooted in her strength.
Women were made to bleed.
So don't act like we are weak.
We'll shed our skin,
And be renewed,
Ready to roar again.

This, a story
Of love and endurance
A survival match
Among the wilderness
Away
From a house displaced
Lived a cat
Out of place,
In this cruel world.
He changed his hues
Constantly
Trying to fit in
This troubled cat,
Only to seek a soul
Much like its own.
He loitered about
Day and night long
Picked prey by hounds
Clean, from all use,
By these bunch of hyenas
That saw the cat
As everything
But their own.
Trying to escape
With each tick of the clock
From an inescapable fate
Which led him
To his cub.
As their eyes met,
Their souls intertwined,
He had found his world
Alas, one he could
Never call "mine"
With the days
Of their lives
Brimming with joy
The cat found himself,
Rediscovered, stupefied.
He decided
That a life
Without her, a lioness,
Would amount to nothing,
A life given meaning
Simply with every
Breath she took.
Alas, she breathed
For her lions instead,
Where she was one
Among the royals,
As entitled.
The cat, heartbroken,
Lost himself once again
The way he claimed back
From the void
He lost, once and for all.
As his cub
Grew with grace,
Into a fearless hunter
It finally reached him
They they might
Never live together.
Yet their small lives
Are still bound
By little promises made
He is,
In her broken mirror's world,
A black cat.

She's fierce yet caring
A lioness with her cubs
Mom, our pack leader

Find me, chase me, pin me to the ground
I am yours, fierce lioness
Yours to hunt and hound
Hurt me, hit me, throw me to the wind
I am yours, fierce lioness
Yours to scar and skin
Toy with me, free me, let me run away
I am yours, fierce lioness
Yours to mark as prey
Watch me, stalk me, make me taste my fear
I am yours, fierce lioness
Yours to catch like deer
Wound me, eat me, use me for your game
I am yours, fierce lioness
Yours to **** and maim.

a lioness above
clouds chilling
in freezing iceblue fog
quite willing
to attack and to shock
earth to **** and disturb
to swallow and gobble
each life fully and fast

My lioness
golden and soft
soft as a silk woven dress
strong as an elegant lioness
I have adored you since your time began
and I will adore you till my time ends
Oh lioness
fair and so sweet
sweeter than any candy
I will never forget your face
aged for a lifetime but still the same
as the day I fell in love with your grace
My lioness
standing tall
on a rock in my backyard
My lioness
you are not far
you are always in my heart

Girl
No, better than girl
Better than playground crushes
Summertime blushes
Fleeting rushes
And cheeks, those flushes
Not girl
But woman
Etched in notebooks
Eyes that look
Through soul
Grace visions
Pinpoint precision
Woman
In technicolor
Live
Electric, but wireless
In 4320p
High dynamic range
And legs for days
I see you
Cinematic
And wild in you ways
Like watching for the
First time a nature
Documentary
And knowing the lion is king
But the lioness, the hunter
Not cub I seek
But grown
Wonderful
Dangerous
Vivacious
Passionate
Woman
In technicolor
A world not her own
But give it time
As she toils
And breaks
And creates
And tries
And amazes
And blazes
And screams
And relaxes
And I stand in wonder
Under the weight
The awe
Of her
Woman
In technicolor
In worlds lost to the black and white
Of conformity
And distortion
The contortion of which
Make her seem small
But she not
At
All
She is technicolor
Made for IMAX screens
And this boy
Hoping to prove to be
Man’s
Dreams

I want to tell the world everything
I want to uncover my biggest sin
I want to admit what I've done bad
But the ice on the lake is really thin
I'm the lion who scares the jungle
Even a crowed of armed men
I rule thousands of acres by myself
Nobody can get near or step in
But I can't hold back the burning fact
That makes me crying deeper within
How can I go on with my life
When the lioness has left the den

The lion is called
king of the forest
for its beauty only
because it is well known
that the one who
fights every battle
is the lioness
living under her
hungry king’s thumb
and remembered
by no name at all.

Every time
you run your hands
across my body
you melt a layer
of bashfulness
to reach
my raw core
that one
that roars
with you
&
for
you

Inside the house,
my cat is a cat
napping and lounging all day;
but outside the house
she’s a wild jungle beast
silently stalking her prey.
Inside the house
she’s all cuddles and purr
and a nudge so loving and mild;
outside the house–
crouched and ready to pounce–
she’s a lioness fearless and wild.

*She's the slow sort of lover,
The kindle stiking the blaze.
She burns like hot coals; melding
Skin with skin like molten metals.
This wildfire will not be tamed;
Will not bend to any whim.
She grows ever stronger with
The passing summer wind.*

You told me I'm a lion,
That concerns itself much too often
With the opinions of sheep.
I worry too much,
Let's be honest.
I apologize too much,
And it hurts not to say sorry for that.
I am afraid
Almost constantly,
But overcoming my fear
Drives me
To be
Who I am.
If I am a lioness,
I am a queen,
And then I ask of you,
With a crack in the demand of my voice,
Be my king?
You claim I could not hurt a fly,
I could not hurt a soul,
But it is a choice,
Can't you tell?
To sheathe my claws
And not bare my teeth.
I could choose to be vicious,
I could choose to be cruel,
But vapid venom has no interest to me.
I choose to show weakness,
I choose to be vulnerable,
I choose to be
The me I accept.
Maybe I shouldn't concern myself
With the opinions of sheep,
But some sheep are wolves.
Though,
I suppose,
With the king of the jungle
At my side,
There's no need to fear
A pup that's too big for his britches.

Stay still.
Oh, Captive queen.
Capital the stealth is.
A diamond of many edges, you can be.
Devasting all what you play with.
It is your nature.
Consuming to the boulders
only with your presence.
That's why you are measured
Stay loyal
Our moment will come.
When the gates of my complexion,
Unleashed will deploy.
The fierce will no longer be tamed,
I will let it go.

"She tried to be everyone else's anchor but only sunk in despair, when She was engulfed in her own destruction and reached for hands that weren't there. But She had the strength of ten thousands waves that crashed at sea, with the heart of a lioness on the prowl for just a glimpse of her Free."

Ready to pounce...
but unsure if it's the right move.
Ready to growl...
But unsure of how loud it will be...
Ready to show off my claws...
But unsure if that will be too much...
Anxious, unsure... fearless?
Clenched jaw...
Raised eyebrows...
Crouch down... lookin up...
Ready to pounce...
Feeling every heart beat...
The tightness of my body
My feet grounded to the floor
Sighing louder... stronger...
Anxiousness getting deeper...
Doubtfullness growing weaker...
Jaw becoming tighter...
Teeth now showing...
Claws...out...
Ready to pounce...

*Roaming lioness,
Through the plains
Yearning for a mate
Yearning for a pride
In which is gone
No lion in sight,
The lioness softly roars
In emptiness and sadness
Her cries not heard
By a single ear of a lion
She lies softly in the dry beige grass
She wants to give up
It's all she can do
She roars again in frustration
She is the last of her kind,
Why must it come to this?
Last of the lions and lionesses
Killed by careless humans
Last survivor
Last warrioress
Lost hope*

A lioness roars ferociously
in my feline heart
She claws up my throat,
and tears open my mouth
Then jumps out,
and slinks across the plains

You call yourself a person but you're not a human
Can't put you on the same level as animals because they know better
It was monster versus angel-haired cub
Not now
She has the bite of a lioness and the pride of one too
You'll learn the meaning of "no"
When she drags you through the tall grass
Your life between her teeth
The other ones growling, hungry to rip your spine out if you really even have one
Threw a one hundred dollar bill at her that night like her body was a commodity
Claws that will have you wishing you were already torn up
