I don’t care enough to make sense
Of why I am this way
I really just want what I want
I am a narcissist
I am my whole universe
My whole world
I have no personality
And so I sought to imitate yours
for a selfish purpose
But in pursuing you,
And attempting persuade you
I have taken on your characteristics
I have taken on your habits
I have taken on your desires
I have taken on your interests
And now, I have become you
I only love myself in my world
But in becoming you
I have fallen deeply in love
With a world made new
And this is my predicament
For one who only wants to love himself
I have fallen completely in love with you
And I don’t really care enough
To make sense of it
