#ladybug
A ladybug in space
and the star
flying together
away from the universe
when the star falls
the ladybug flies down and catches her
even if she is burned out and not shining as bright
the ladybug loves her just the same
shes still beautiful to her
She loves her
A star touching the earth
and the ladybug
walking together
away from the world
when the ladybug trips
the star leans down and pulls her back up
even if she isn't standing as tall and her red is faded
the star loves her just the same
she's still beautiful to her
She loves her
A star and a ladybug
might not make sense to everyone
they're supposed to be in completely different places
but stars fall
and ladybugs fly
and end up with each other in the end

the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met
how your brown eyes shine
I could sift for sea glass forever
with you at my side
the week we met
I mistook someone else for you
but now, I could find you anywhere
don’t let this cruel world dull your special
you will always be a friend until the end

Black as a cat, purrs like a cat, acts like a cat. Even a bell hangs from his neck. Every trait of a cat. Emerald eyes and blonde hair. Sweet puns and romantic kisses. Who wouldn’t want a love such as Cat Noir? Try as he may to woo the lady of luck. The ladybug. Soon he’ll show her, soon the Lady of luck and the heart of the cat will become one.
A few more puns and saving should pay off in the end. This kitty just has to wait a little longer. A kitty as black as night. Eyes belonging to those of an emerald. Hair like gold and a heart made of sugar can make you melt the minute you lay your eyes upon him. Cat Noir is his name, and LadyNoir is his ship to sail.

Icy blue eyes. Frozen white fur. Surrounded by rage and pain. A boy with beautiful emerald eyes and blonde hair. Now became icy and cold. By the touch, you’d feel shivers and chills at the bottom of your spine. Under his control you were. Risking death in a fight to save your friend. Red and black spots were the first things you spotted. Unlike any normal spots, you’d seen before. The spots you recognized quickly, it didn’t even take too long.
Icy cold breath pressed against your cheek as he glared straight at you. The one you called a friend and the one everyone called Hero was staring you down longingly. The surrounding temperature. The surrounding temperature grew in worse freezing pleasure as blue freezing light-filled your vision.
He would freeze you.
You’d known long before he thought to do it.
Dashing out of the way, your head felt icy and cold. Freezing cold… Your fingertips ran past the top of it carefully. Your surprise, the tips of your skull were deep covered with stalling ice flakes.
Your first thought was to rise and face him again. But now something seemed different. A light-hearted shadow covered your body as the same red and black spots, your eyes traced.
Like a ladybug….
The colors resembled.

Seven spotted ladybird,
Dancing in my mind.
Its shade a deep burgundy,
with a slight shine that sparkled
under the soft rays of the sun.
It wobbled its way across the hood of car.
And I poked it gently,
Making it clumsily fall on its back in the driveway.
I cupped the tiny thing in my hands,
And eventually, it flew away.

To the lucky ones
in whose hands
a ladybug has landed
today
I wish to not
search for a sign
or better a guise
to be great.

my open window
looking out with anticipation
cloudy day
waiting for rain drops
precious sounds of life
trickledown into a thunderstorm
crackle of light
reaching from the clouds to the ground
cloud condensation nuclei
magic droplets start to fall
clouds pass
anticipated blue sky
sun raining rays
creatures buzzing
bird wings flapping
luck of the universe
bringing loveliness into my vision
kismet of my ideas
when reaching for the unknown
ladybug lands on me
providing the luck
elytra open like a mechanical contraption in my dreams
protecting precious veined wings
off you go with exquisite elegance
graceful motion
ballerinas
mimicking
your moves
grand jeté

I found a dead ladybug in the sink
after washing a head of lettuce
the red had faded to peach
and the legs no longer reached for life
~
Standing in the school playground
during a warm fall afternoon
a bright red bug with black spots
lands on my arm
I can feel its little legs trembling
as it shimmies along my forearm
slowly turning my hand over
when it reaches the wrist
~
I hope that ladybug landed
on as many hands as possible
as a harbinger of joy
simply with its presence

He flirts with lady bugs
Head full of dirt
Green snot leaks towards lip
He finds her voice in all the right places
those hands that hold rib cage
Breath
She says
Shadows dance
On quivering honey locus leaves
Day Lillies
Toss pollen to the wind
Remember this moment
She whispers
And my love will always find you

There are ladybugs in my room
They've always been there
At first I found them pretty
But it's hard to change with them around
There are ladybugs in my bed
They stay with me when I sleep
Im careful not to crush them
But it's hard to move with them around
There are ladybugs in my mouth
Im sorry
They tickle my tongue
It's hard to breathe with them around
“Ladybugs are good luck.”
“You can't **** ladybugs.”
There are ladybugs in my eyes
I can't stop them from falling
Im sorry
Im sorry
It's hard to love with them around
“Ladybugs are good luck.”

The Ladybug
Floats and Flutters
***** and Flees
Leaps and Loops
Sits and Swats
At The Coming Luck To You
...
Stares at You
Eyes are bright
Wings are bent
Legs are shaking
Colors are mingling
Blurry and fading
with red and black imminent
...
You woke to a beep
All is white
"The bomb was powerful"
the doctor exclaims
But you're alive,
all because of
The Luck of the Ladybug

I wake in a rusted copper red stained bed,
and focus my gaze though the window ahead,
to see the sun rise in a crimson, flame, flush, shade of glow,
the view reflected in my eyes seem burnt, but cold and slow,
I see rose red flowers in the meadow,
and the shine of a rainbow,
the sea of dark pastels in a strawberry sky,
the cardinals fly,
and as I change my sight to the inside,
the fluttering spotted ladybug try to hide,
I get up and walk across the maroon hard wood floor,
until my feet finally reach the bathroom door,
and I reach a sad sight inside the white room,
the seen is diluted and blank to the view,
I raise my body in fists of hateful recklessness,
and crash my ****** fists into the mirror in elegance,
and helplessly the glass reflections fall to the floor,
and cuts me until my blood flows to the door,
the spotted ladybug hiding on the ground,
couldn't escape the fateful death as it drowned,
and I collapsed next to the bug,
and soaked my skin into the ****** rug.
and I waked to find a sea of vermilion,
acting like a chameleon,
as it laid in pools across my pale bare floors,
as something to large like a corps to ignore.
Vermilion red in my eyes,
Vermilion red stuck in my mind,
Vermilion red lives until I leave for the sky.

You were a giant garden, growing beauty as I, the small bug, admired all that you were and everything you became. I saw the air you breathed in and the seeds you spewed out; my spots and wings were nothing magical to you. You made life, with help from the sun, and all I did was eat everything you created. I destroyed your flowers, slowly and softly - but it took a bigger toll than I had thought it would. I thrived off the misery I caused you. You lived for life and I lived for destruction; for chaos is the only disorder that keeps us sane.

everyone tries to be different
everyone tries to be the pretty girl
all petty and trend setting
there's no point in trying to be like someone else
because in the end everyone will try to be you.
its like forcing a ladybug to pollinate with bees
complete different purpose
yellow.
red.
forcing your mind set to change
for the sake of he,
even though we know.
destroying ourselves,
flying with broken
black wings.
its true
happens too all of us,
once we change for others
we destroy ourselves.

Little lady luck
bug crawls up and
stuck, I try to save her
reach for her gently
but too strong and maybe
I should've gone slower
now she is dead
and my heart it has lowered
fix her a nice bed
of dirt
and fill it with leafs
she will sleep long
though her life was so brief
miss her already
though it doesn't matter much
in the long run
but now the popcorn is done
and so back to the movie
pick up and smoke
and now what was I doing?

On Monday I didn't go to school
because you wanted to take me out instead
We walked around the park downtown all afternoon
finally we perched ourselves in the gazebo
immersing ourselves in each other's thoughts
and wading in traded words.
My attention was shattered when a
lady bug landed on my knee. I was baffled-
I exclaimed that it's orange. You laughed and I
coaxed it onto my finger. And you told me
"Some of them are green you know"
I didn't know. I said "maybe those ones just aren't ripe yet"
I played with the bug for a few more seconds
until I felt your gaze, and I lifted my emerald greens
to your cup-of-coffee mahognies. You were looking at me
the way I imagined Gatsby must have looked at Daisy.
And you smiled a little too wide
for the stupid thing I had just said. You touched my chin
and kissed me gently, and i could feel your lips
still frozen in a grin.
But when I looked back down my coveted orange lady bug
had flown away-
and left no trace that he ever came.

Nothing lulls to sleep quite like concrete waves
of endless tarmac roads,
the car christened Frau Marienkäfer by raindrops
of a passing thundercloud.
Baby butterfly whose pigments are smeared across
the windshield –
were you chasing the ‘Big City’ dream like
all the rest?

Lady bug, lady bug flying through the air.
Lady bug, lady bug who doesn’t seem to care.
On nice days in Fall you flutter around in the sun, dipping and diving; oh, that looks fun.
You land on the wall and heat your wings;
if you had a voice would you happily sing?
Lady bug, lady bug with your small dots,
just pull up a sunbeam and find a warm spot.
