At times, a boy hurls a pebble at the glass sky and breaks— the silence.

Symbol of eternal decay The final horseman has arrived The road paved conquest, war, & famine Death of atlas drawing near Pale reaper of the scythe Necromantic sorcery: Ending of life The land is now blighted, torment incited Disease of mind, body, soul What was teeming with life One by one, lights dimmed From the marching of apocalypse Four horsemen of global annihilation May-hap other worlds, witness from distant space Once bright & blue, now dark hue Diminishing lights, humanity's last stand Curtains closed, this final stage Lessons learned, of why love is sanctimonious

Symbol of eternal emptiness Things exist worse than conquest & war Found deep within your belly More importantly, the lack of Reaper black, scales of scarcity Mystic conjuration: The gaping maw Fertile lands turn into sand Harvests withering, no more bounty Cornucopia, of the river Styx Growling stomachs, starving darlings, music to hear Spirits waning, lives are draining Zero sums in his measurements Hollow bodies funnel empty spirits What was easily granted, is now denied Bread & meat you'll never see again Food for the soul? Not this place
