If you really believe in something,
then friend...you better buckle up.
Because I believe so much in this one thing,
and the roads have never been more rough.
I have thought copiously about just giving up.
That my luck was over,
and that it wasn't half full or half empty with this cup-
No, it was more like...when did the cup dry up?
And that's the moment I realized what I needed to learn.
If this one thing is that thing for which all of me yearns?
If it is my destiny?
My heart?
What I am praying for in both light and dark?
Then why did I ever allow myself to give up?
Why would He make it happen if I didn't believe He could?
So now,
from this moment
I will no longer lack faith.
Because my God is the God
who can do all things.
