We stood at that crossroads, bathed in lamplight, blind, he never even knew this was the end of us. He pulled me close, closer than I had ever been held and I knew we could never see each other again. Under the wash of night, I had finally found a ship calling out to me. Someone had heard my call for help. Someone had seen me. For so long it was I who left them: where they stood; where I could still love them. But I pushed him ahead of me. I stood there and made him leave me before my heart could chase after him. He tried to turn back to me with one last dream-defying grin and I squeezed my eyes shut. I saw him once more after that, I missed him by just a second, I did not call out to him. Our time together was over. He told me to sail to him, and the magic words to say; I vowed for her sake to never utter them.

Pearl white floral treat entwined in the vines of hair sundress draped a frame petite skin so smooth and fair Calm oceans happily gaze glass of wine we share tropical blue I'll sail for days lost in the waves serene care Lift the glass to those lush lips we'll share some little laughs for the first time this seedy ship doesn't mind posing photographs Beacon of moonlight how you so guide a lost star back to night where it will find its stride My enchanting little carnation oh how you so complete this lost dull constellation giving meaning to its heartbeat

Here say have someplace in Collegetown, You are on with VW because yesterday you were beginning to fade. You start down rain now after a sunny morning, When you slow down the blinking gets worse, That huge old green house on the corner of the shiny face of you, You feel terror in your people on their way to Ha D es, To go all day—in case they can’t stop, So this is what failed... You couldn’t avoid that crowd, Chances are that any one of these people had quarreled with a friend, The Impact was you... in Ithaca

Oh Penelope, Penelope in the winds blowing distant! when storms gather at night and lightning pierces the sea, I see how Zeus has struck, such is time, that slices through the heart Oh Penelope Penelope Did I love you over honour? Athene oh Athene, were my prayers not enough? In the small hours' brewing pain, how I took valour granted, oh to believe that destiny is all but deed and dust, that victory is about winning Burying my knees in sand, set on the horizon, here I mourn: turning over the wheel of time, too mortal my soul for the love of a nymph Oh Penelope, Penelope, in the winds blowing distant!
