When all the babies cry And the pelicans sing What will they bring To the table, oh my Right before my eyes They'll crown me king Dancing around a swing Do I get my prize? I know the grass is green And that blades are sharp My history is clean, Not a sin to be seen But what's a work of art Is blood on the screen

Coronation Day
Some women love roses, some love money Some roses are red, some are yellow Some roses smell like rot, some smell so mellow Some women may be thorny, some are sweet like honey All roses are perfect, even though some look funny They may fool you and ***** you, just to let go Some roses may leave thorns that you don't even know Some have thorns may be sharp, some have petals that are pretty Regardless, all roses are beautiful and elegant Whether they were watered with ***** or fresh water Whether they were raised with tender care or greed And whether they feel the sun or whether they are relevant Determines the type of rose he has brought her Maybe she'll embrace the sweet scent or maybe it'll make her bleed.

Sonnet For Roses
Close your eyes. Put a hand over my heart, Do you feel the missing part? Help me take off and fly. Can you hear the cry? And I can't stand to be apart, And this information I must impart Upon you and I That I must know That the love I see is true. Each day, every day, colors grow, And so does my love for you, And to and fro comes the glow That is my heart's glance upon your eyes (and wings) so blue.
