Harsh light beats down on me
sweat beads on my forehead
I've been sitting here
being watched
for 8 hours
They're watching my every move
dissecting every word I say
questioning when my heart rate spikes
I've been through this before
It's always the same
no matter what state
no matter the questions
no matter what I did
from theft to ******
I won't break
never have
I look stone cold
face expressionless
can't let them read me
They don't want to know what I did
