Her poems ring like
rain, in spring
I know her

There’s a song in my soul
That I try to control
But it won’t be directed
Or infected by me
My higher self singing
and flinging me
forwards into the light,
with my dreams in sight
There - where I am awake,
with glimmer and gleam and
in sync with my being.

She lives among the stars
Swirls around the sun
But in her daydreams
She's one with the elements
Free flowing as the wind
Her spirit forever burns like wild fire
Her body like the ocean is forever in
motion
dancing to the rhythm of her own drums
from one shore to another she moves
With flowers around her head
Jewelry on her body
Music in her heart
Pen and notebook in her hand
And eyes set on the infinite sky
To wander and to wonder
Forever enchanted by the mysteries of the earth

You can feel it
well, at least I can
it doesn't really matter
a woman or
a man
In sync
or just a feeling
string theory in mortal play
you and me a story
no words or lines
we can, or cannot say
So prose as you will
my responses quilled and quipped
like souls in tune on honeymoon
spirit's bared
and stripped

The birds bob and sing
a song that spring and summer bring
every flying resonant
musically, they ring
Over fields and farms
no fears and no harm
dancing a tune each time
as desolate, disarm
How can the anguished weep
how can a broken heart so keep
when spring is in the air
making spirits leap
Discard them here, and now
all the pain a mind allows
looking towards the light
someway, and somehow
Lift your soul on high
don't ask or wonder why
all of you, under your control
no need to mourn, or cry
