Linked Haiku Sequence *** Twilight softly falls— a young boy studies the sky, worlds forming in dreams. Silent stars awaken, whispering gentle pathways through the unknown dark. Shadows stretch like wings, dragons roar in distant hills— still his spirit climbs. Hope glimmers above, each small light a promise made to a searching heart. Storms cross the heavens, yet the cosmos murmurs low— seek, and you shall find. Night shapes quiet strength, the boy slowly learning how dreamers become men. Morning lifts the sky— yet the stars remain within, guiding every step.

The Dreamers Quest
Linked Haiku Sequence *** Morning light appears— youth runs laughing through blue skies, dreams riding the wind. Endless roads ahead, hearts bright with untold stories, the world wide and new. Twilight gathers slow, paths turning in different ways— wisdom finds its voice. Rain falls, shadows teach, joy and sorrow woven tight in life’s patient loom. Adulthood unfolds, a deeper, steadier song rising with the sun. Gratitude awakens— each new dawn a quiet gift waiting to be shaped. Years flow like soft notes, yet every sunrise returns to begin the song.

The Melody of Lifes Dawn
Look to the sky — each cloud is forged alone, Yet from afar, they wear the same white throne.   They drift like thoughts, alike yet set apart,   A testament to nature’s restless art. Likes and unlikes — such is the nature’s lore, Be the seed that breaks its shell and grows once more.   Stand firm and nurture all you hold inside,   Your voice, your shadow, your unpolished pride. Never let fear hush the thunder in your chest — Speak storms of truth, though silence might seem best.   Tongues will wag like branches in the wind,   But roots run deeper when they don’t pretend. Most trade their colors for another’s hue, They wear borrowed skins to seem brand new.   Yet stand apart — like a lone tree crowned in flame,   Unafraid to bear your honest name. You need not twist your soul to be untrue — Be your own sky, be your sun and morning dew.   For it’s enough — this flawed and fearless star —   To live unmasked, to be just who you are.

The Sky you are
Just how glass cracks after a lapse, one should make a gaffe to smash the mirror of arrogance.

Beauty of Blunder
Minutiae of life, betwixt Sacred and profane in the mundane, If lustless, miraculous disdained, Evolves at it's own clip Giving the unseeing eye the slip, A crysalis of sorts, Caterpillaring into Butterflying love.

ineffable ephemeral effervescence
Skies are darkened over our country today, Still, there's hope for "...we(e),..." know Though democracy's thread is bare, And the people, the needle, dull, Somehow the thimble, our common humanity, Will bear us through by bringing us Together in the end, in time to mend The whole of the fabric of life.

A Quilt (trois)
Through the looking glass she fell, and fatefully declined. Into a world more cold and dark, than what she left behind. The rabbit hole is vast and wide, not bound by sense or time. To find her way, she must obey the rules of this domain. For if she strays she'll lose her way, and find herself astray. She must be brave to fight the daze, and see the light of day.
