Everyone is running towards...
The unknown ? Dreams? Plans ?
All of them running .. to what?
Some heard the start bell earlier
Is there a reason for their head start?
Or is this just simply a rigged game
For some choose players to win
Did we sign up for this marathon?
Where is the finish line ?
Why are some finish lines closer than others?
Who made this life a race ?
They run and I see some cheaters
Some trip others, some step on others
Is the race worth it ?
This life that they have turn into a marathon
Is it worth the loses ?
It seems that some of the humans
Are racing to lose their humanity
They say is a competition, you have to fight
But I wonder, who divided us first?
This tournament the have transformed life into
How did I enter it?
Did I apply to it?
Did I consent to this?
Why does it seems that I'm always running
Towards something, against something
Against.. someone
Is this all life has to offer?
A serious of competitions for top 1?
Fighting, blood pumping for that spot?
I see some running bare foot
Some are almost in skates
Aren't there rules for this thing?
Aren't we all in the same race?
We seem to be color coded
We seem to be sponsored by something...some group
We seem to be ahead of some others
We seem to be behind of some others
I don't want to keep doing this
I don't see the point of running but,
What if I refuse to run ?
Refuse to compete
What if I help someone another one tripped?
I did not approved this,
did not condone this
I will not play their game, their competition
I will search for another path
I'm sure there are others
I see them nowthey're asking me to join them
In their side, where their is just one race

there's one kind of race
the human race...
but we divided the human race by color
its a race of color
black, brown and asian vs. white
its a race of ***
man vs. women
its a race of
LGBTQA+ vs. straight
what's the point of this race
if we know who would live with no guilts

Penultimate month, November
Tending memories’ eternal ember
Sparking thoughts, grand and tender
With honor and thanksgiving to remember
For each who of the human race are a member

We Are All Human;
Gender or Wealth,
Religion or Race.
If you disagree,
Then you're a disgrace.
Healthy or Disabled,
Straight or Gay.
We Are All Human,
So treat us that way.

I could tell you more about the hurt
inflicted into us by what we thought was love
and to find it be an inevitable pain
followed by tears that flow off the face
and the guilt that maybe it was out fault.
we NEVER get the love we deserve,
manipulated and programmed the generational stigma
to love one more than yourself and unfulfilling
what we as the human race should've
been instilled with was self love.
too busy lost in the social media haze of
losing yourself into everything that we
forget to love ourselves
forgetting we have to do that before we
can truly love any one person.

It's hard living in a world where no one cares
While your smothered and shallowed by despair
Sitting here wondering why I was born into this place
Not wanting to be part of this sad human race
Where money is the great and powerful Oz
It doesn't matter what's the cause
I look and see their hearts have grown cold and calloused
Everything is so off balanced
There is no more unconditional love
No loving help from up above
We have been abandoned
The trumpets have sounded
Humanity has been stripped of it's compassion
Empathy is in short ration
Gone are the ways of old
To these values we no longer hold
Now it's I'll do for you, if you can do for me
That's not the way it's supposed to be
But everyone's eyes have been closed
Their souls have become thorny and cold
We are no longer judged on our thoughts and actions
But by how much money we have for the coming attractions
For if we don't have enough to pay
We become part of the play
We are condemned to be the *****
They feed to the machines of war

on the street corner
waiting for a body to come along
'oh, jesus, oh, lord'
the man just wants a hug
throw a man a home
spare his dog a bone
cough of a smoker
chest with a wheeze
one sits in a resturant
while anothers begs on his knees
'please lord, oh please'
ignorance a bliss
public sphere bubble
'look man'
'i don't want no trouble'
'could i trouble you for a penny'
share one of your many
what's a woman begging for
judgement decides she is a *****
a million to one
help out the addict of a son
and i ask you sir
while you moan and groan in your animal fur
'are we all human, only divided by materials'

Pounding onto the drums,
Acting dumb for the crowd,
Asking to be a little less proud,
And understand that we're all ****
Hatred consumes us all, it comes so easily; its almost a gene of its own.
Painful truths and lies shoot us all down,
Everyone is bleeding out and trying to breath,
Everyone is falling from highs and trying to catch the prize.
The skies are covered in dim lights,
Telling the stories of those who lost hope in their dreams.
Everyone is being run down,
The guns are useful tools to pierce a person,
Words impeded in them, and once it hits you there is no turning back;
Your permanently damaged mentally and physically.
The painful truth about us; the 'Human race',
Is that we are all are the monster under neath the bed,
The skeletons inside our closets,
Ready to hunt us down and consume everyone is sight.
We are own parasites,
Every judging thought that turns into a spoke word,
Has already infected someone, and grown,
The rippling effect already taken place.
We are the demons that steal away another's child,
Damaging beyond repair,
Polluting their minds with pure hatred.
We destroy own another, our own loved ones, and random strangers,
That is the little bit of painful truth.

We are constantly being defined by labels
As if that is all that matters
Oh you're a teenager, all you can do is wait tables
Im a wife, I'm a daughter
Until all that shatters
Widow and orphan, newlywed or divorcee
Freshman, gothic, black or white, king and queen.
Workaholic, hobo, immigrant, pale face
The only label that should matter
Is us -
The human race.

There is no escaping the stupidity of the human race
It's always right up there in your face
I want to be on a mountain top
Where humanity never stops
I want to be in the middle of the raging sea
Where no human I'll never see
I want to be on a deserted island
Where people couldn't even fly in
I want to live in the frozen tundra
Where humanity couldn't wonder
But I'm afraid I'm stuck right here
Amongst the idiots and their beer
Watching the little piggies as they squeal
I want to run away
There is no place I want to stay

Floating out in infinite space
Far above the sadistic human race
Drifting in the cosmic flow
No knowing which way I'll go
But I'll be free
As the galaxies
Way past Neptune
Out in space I'll be immune
From sadness and corruption
Way out there, there will be no interruption
From my happy thoughts
From all I forgot
I'll keep on sailing through all the galaxies
I'll do as I please
I'll dive into the stars
Resurface by Mars
Backstroke through the cosmos
I will swim to the utmost
Will I come back
To feeling like I lack
I doubt it
Not without a fit
A fight
Till this world fits right
Till then
You find me on a heavenly wind
I might never come back again
Unless it's on a whim

We are naturally wary of different
Our anticipatory
Participation in fear
Blinds us from the signs
That classification
Of the population
Fuels separation
In our great nation
And the degradation
Of our education
Through miscommunication
Due to deprivation
Of alleviation
As far as the segregation
Taking its formation
In our imagination?
These bounds we set
To set us apart
Take hold in heart
Because we impart
The notion of racism
Through our pride
Proud to be black
Proud to be white
Proud to be
Whatever it is that is me.
I’m sure it is right
Though I did not choose
No I wasn’t trusted with choice
I wasn’t given an option
No opinion to voice
I came as I am
I came as man
With no color in mind
Nor hate in heart
A patch of untrodden
Still smoothed soft snowflakes
Unscathed by the treads
Of worn down soles.
No limits exist
To whom
They were never shown
Never taught
Through words or by deed
Never separated
Through race or creed
Disparity through diversification
Norms forming cult cultures
Secluded islands of identifiers
Imprisoned in our tradition
Caught up in the familial familiarity
Of being a drop in a raincloud
Growing heavier each summer day
Until the burden bursts
Out in thunderous roar.
And yet the race will remain
Runners at their mark
Pushing to get ahead of the pack
Forgetting there is no finish-line
Since it was never a race at all.

He wants to stop us
By punishing us
We toil for our bread
And look how we've survived
We won't be stopped
