#heap
The straw that broke the camel’s back A straw quite ordinary Its weight did not mean very much Not challenging to carry But even though this measly straw Was worthless on its own It had a value and a strength That was only timely shown The straw itself, pretentious not Had knowledge of its role Quite useless was it by itself This it could not control But when it was allowed to be A part of bale or heap Its value all at once appeared To be no longer cheap And so one day to its surprise It really didn’t know It was the one who did the trick Before anyone could say ** Wendy Nipas

The straw
Heap of failures Resorted into something much too massive to play out A catch from third base that became an error Ending a King's reign of terror Without a trace

Heap Of Failures
Shoulder blades collapse; Burdens seemingly falter. Let the hours beware.

Heap
Ahoy Captain Courageous! Cleave not thy ship from soul Past heaving swell through Stormy sleet this spellbinding Siren to seek. Away thee, Ahab! More than Whale, this mistress heaps Thy spirit to take thee Deep ‘neath sandy shoal. She sings... clings... captures. Pour over rocks Impudent-ass officer Soon torn and tattered. You know better than Fools before thee! Yea! Your liquor lapses Dead man dreaming! Admirals and angels Have fallen Afore thee… oh wise one, Ha! Like notches on a barrel Your soul… she’ll tow on her tale.

Siren's Song
One day I found some treasure in a ******* heap that I thought could be a thing worthwhile to keep. Although at first it didn’t seem to be much at all because of the simple fact that it was quite small. The more I looked at it the less likely it became something by which anyone could thereby gain. It was so covered in dirt that it was hard to discern just exactly what it was without handling to learn. Not wishing to disappoint myself or let curiosity go I picked the object up with a determination to know. And after wiping the dirt off from it I could then see, just what the thing was which completely amazed me. The thought crossed my mind as to why it had been thrown away along with all the rest of the garbage that was strewn around to lay. I had a strong suspicion that it may have been discarded by mistake which sometimes does also happen when people are not fully awake. Or perhaps when people get so sick and tired of the same old things by an act of desperation they try to get rid of whatever in life stings; throwing away certain possessions which over the years have acquired becoming such burdens in their life to the point of making them tired. Another perspective is that it may have served its purpose up to that time and the person possessing it had no further use for it regarding it as grime. One too many things in a person’s life can really get to be too much to bear and the situation becomes unhealthy for them to continue in that way there. Whatever the case may have been for it to have ended up here was now to my advantage which brought me some good cheer. Something invaluable once deemed lost but since then found again is what so many people hope for to progress and confidence attain. ______________________________________________________
