blood runs wanting love— a river of tears completes the need. how long will i chase your touch before breath runs thin? lost inside this heated bloodstream— how deep does this longing flow.

depth of longing
Linked Haiku Sequence *** Twilight softly falls— a young boy studies the sky, worlds forming in dreams. Silent stars awaken, whispering gentle pathways through the unknown dark. Shadows stretch like wings, dragons roar in distant hills— still his spirit climbs. Hope glimmers above, each small light a promise made to a searching heart. Storms cross the heavens, yet the cosmos murmurs low— seek, and you shall find. Night shapes quiet strength, the boy slowly learning how dreamers become men. Morning lifts the sky— yet the stars remain within, guiding every step.

The Dreamers Quest
Linked Haiku Sequence *** Morning light appears— youth runs laughing through blue skies, dreams riding the wind. Endless roads ahead, hearts bright with untold stories, the world wide and new. Twilight gathers slow, paths turning in different ways— wisdom finds its voice. Rain falls, shadows teach, joy and sorrow woven tight in life’s patient loom. Adulthood unfolds, a deeper, steadier song rising with the sun. Gratitude awakens— each new dawn a quiet gift waiting to be shaped. Years flow like soft notes, yet every sunrise returns to begin the song.

The Melody of Lifes Dawn
*** SYMPHONY OF SEASONS Spring’s gentle embrace, awakening earth from sleep— blossoms bloom in grace. SUMMER’S GOLDEN KISS Warm sunlight surrounds, nature’s bright chorus rising, golden days unfold. AUTUMN’S FIERY HUE Leaves dance on cool winds, crisp air carries soft farewell, the season turns slow. WINTER’S ICY BREATH Snow blankets the earth, white silence resting on trees— beauty in stillness. by Paul Baldry (LongJohn)

'selfless gratitude' - not something one inherits; a skill one acquires.

I saw that she was A radioactive girl And was lonely still Wearing a jumpsuit And a helmet for safety I said hello there She smiled at me And I realized that maybe Effort was needed If everyone tried Radioactive people Wouldn’t be so lonely
