is what the heart craves for.

I taught you is just a mere mirror of
mine bestowed upon you as a jewel for
myself to find what is mine and not yours.

love in your heart, that holy light will lit
your journey of life for which is what we are here for.

now in your gray presence

somehow more near
and remind me that,
once, upon a star,
you taught me
wish
that ululate soft phrase,
that hopeful phrase!
and everywhere above, each hopeful star
gleamed down
and seemed to speak of times before
when you clasped my small glad hand
in your wise paw
and taught me heaven, omen, meteor ...

knowing the answer
before he asks.
Giving fuel so mind ponders.
A guru speaks
hoping you take it in
as if wholesome lunch
needing to be digested.
A guru throws ball-like
thoughts with a different spin
so it moves in field of mind
to make home run for peace.
Honor the Guru
as they carry smiles
infused with love and wisdom.

I need Thy grace.
I need God's Grace to be liberated from this ignorance.
Without you my Guru, what would I be?

my dear Master to the one reality.

Blessed I’ve been with God.
But I’m stuck in the winds.
How much for your soul?
Come pay for your sins.
Nowadays I can’t trust.
It seems so hard to win.
I don’t want to lose myself, amongst these mortal men.
Been in the streets fighting temptations.
Running from my problems and complications.
I’m so moody now that I’m off my medications.
But now I’m focused with more dedication.
Stuck within my flaws.
Smoking, have no wind.
Summers over, now it’s cold.
I've lost so many friends.
Nowadays I can’t trust.
And I cannot pretend.
If I ever lose my health, I’ll self destruct again.
Been in the streets fighting temptations.
Running from my problems and complications.
I’m so moody now that I’m off my medications.
But now I’m focused with anticipations and dedications.

When many things seemed to be going wrong
You just then so happened to come along
and lift me up out of my deep sorrow
thereby giving me hope for the morrow.
You also taught me about faith and trust
which in our relationship was a must;
through my self effort and Your saving grace
I yearned to reach for a much higher place.
To get back to where I had fallen from
I would first then have to undo the wrong
of some past karma done in ignorance
which was scored then by disobedience.
Like the story of the prodigal son
who returned home to his father and won
I reflected on those things said and done
at each day's end for a better outcome.
In daily meditation's quietude
I regained confidence and fortitude
for self discipline and transformation
to rise up to that higher life station.
Your helping hand was indispensable
and so very strongly responsible
in saving me then from all of that gloom
I was heading toward failing to bloom.
It would be against so many an odd
that You helped me to gain favour with God
Who was really the One Divine Being
within every person always seeing.

I was her unauthorised teacher,
She got bored of my teachings.
I just had the best advice for her,
She thought so too but initially.
Later on, she made mistakes,
Suffered losses, heavy losses.
She blamed me for half-hearted efforts.

I have a guru who comes to me from time to time
To teach me things I tend to forget.
Once he appeared as a wrinkled old coolie
Who carried my bag into a crowded train.
I gave him a generous fee which he did not count
And left, as I sat there feeling quite self-righteous.
Moments later, he returned jostling through the crowd
Teary eyed and hands joined to inquire in silence -
If I had made a mistake
Or if there was something else he could do?
For I had paid him far more than what was due.
In an instant I shrunk to the size of an ant
In front of this giant of a nobleman.

After what seemed eons
he heard her saying this,
gently patting his chest
and wistfully looking
at his withered rose petal lips
"You need to slow down,
be incisive, gaze, just not
with two physical eyes
master your senses, all five
if you want to see clearly
what truly transpires
beyond mere words and actions"
those frenzied moments
of love, despair whatever, intense
he somehow felt part of his, cherished,
But did they deliver?
never did he regret a GURU's absence
still hoped in a deeper layer of psyche
"He would certainly come..won't
decide against showing up"
Still he was waiting
(looking at the directions wrong)
when she was with him,
his lover,finder of path too, for a long while.
None had ever seized him like this
and emphatically said such a thing
Now he could see
more clearly with focus
as if the blazing sun appears
when the clouds are driven by the winds.
He heard the words of wisdom
a woman like her can better discern
because his light and darkness reflect
on her screen of love, better,
essence-mind- bliss
"Sat-chit- Ananda"
where cosmic waves
make their presence
At that instance he decides
to let go pretenses of every kind
he felt expansion of consciousness
a feeling words would never learn to express,
with stars in attendance he slept
cleansed himself in the waters of milky way
frenetic drum beat of heart
vanished as if he is no more
body bound, free to fly anywhere.
wasn't she just predicting that
the slow dance holding the hand
that masterfully guides,
it begins
from this moment.

These canaries go on chattering without an end
in their yellowish green language,isn't it queer?
Ambivalent I remain, are they at loggerheads with one another?
noisy canaries, aren't they a bother
why can't they sit quiet,
and listen to the silence?
But the canaries are a spirited lot,seems to create a world they like.
what they say is unintelligible, should I listen to them?
A bit, I did, then it acts on me in more ways I than can imagine.
One can sit eyes shut as long as one wish,
their tweets are sweet after all.
The canaries have a musical gift and a language of their own
they incessantly chant, it takes time to discern it's essence,I find.
There is an expert in canary speak; what's his name?
Yes, Brian, should I get his help to get it explained?
my thoughts turn more focus on the mysteries of canaries.
"Listening to them did a lot of good to you"says my girl.
The doctor is very supportive to the cause of canaries.
"There is wonder in the results of your blood works" he tells.
"The canaries are braking new grounds in my life" I realize
"My blood pressure is down without any medicine", cool.
I begin to realize what Canary symbolism means,
they led me to a life style never did I dream before
as if by some magic, now I perfectly understand their language
she tells me how quick I am in picking emotions nowadays!
would you believe this , the canaries are my Gurus nature gifted,
teaching me living, loving and flying away without making noise.
