a culmination of my whims
like the whim that keeps me
glued to my screen

While my room looks like some monster's den
And I engorge myself on those chocolate almonds
My eyes grow hazy
As my waistline grows larger
The yellow light pierces my eyeballs

How to act like I know these
Bumbling facades running this place
They’re all fakes that take up the space
Stuck in a whirling fantasy of power and fame
Tucked in a twirling travesty of towers of blame
That they could never take for themselves
Lingering at the top takes a lot of help
They have gluttonous accounts, that makes all the headlines
Without the money around it’d be an endless breadline

A pivot, A ****** A watershed
Been miserably waiting for dawn in my head
Then the day came
A day my mismatch soul and body met
I fed on your words and voices
Wolf down everything from you and store them up
Taking mental snapshot in the dark
And prepare myself for yet another brutal week
I fed on tasty food and a good mood
Treat myself with something tangible
Glutton is never a sin for me
