today i had a picture perfect moment
for the first time since i stopped talking to you
i told my mom i stayed after for "tutoring"
and sitting there outside in the amphitheater
surrounded by my friends
while we passed around a vape
and told stories about school
and boys
and secrets
and drama
it was like time stopped
everything was fine
everything was perfect
and i didnt think about you
because i didnt need to
and i loved every second of it
