I am alright …tonight like I was okay …today as for tomorrow …who knows the sorrow … but hey

I’m ok
The days are harder When it’s bright outside And the time has changed You fake a smile But you’re feeling the same The days are harder When you know you haven’t slept And you open your eyes Same eyes that have wept Done with compromise The days are harder When you realize that it’s real That pain means you can’t imagine the past, Live a make-believe all at the same time and heal But you tell yourself: “Today is gonna be the last” And you wish it gets better Or whatever comes before second best Because if the days are harder Then the nights must be the hardest

Days are harder
I lived today and tried my best I rose above and passed the test A simple man that has to try no matter what no matter why Every task a measure set the needs be done of bars been met Not a fail and not true win but god, he knows a race been run So harken you weak words from me deeds of lore not paid or free

I saw a seagull today with a broken wing. He was walking down Bleecker Street. I never saw a bird move so fast on his feet. He was really haulin’ *** I smiled to myself. And I swear he looked right at me and smiled back. It made me realize Sometimes, you just have to make the best out of what you’ve got.

The Seagull
Deep sorrow and agony fell Emptiness and unfeeling grows A good thing or not it tells People stare but no one truly knows More and more they came Less and less of you comes along A good thing or not it tells You still hope and hope and hope and long
