#genetic
larks begin their social day
before dawn, in the early morning darkness.
They’re wired for it
So am I.
I’m a short-sleeper - it’s genetic
I’m talking about my DEC2, ADRB1, mGluR1 and NPSR1 genes. If I average 4 or 5 hours of sleep, for weeks and weeks, I’m good to go.
This works well for school, but back in the COVID lockdown days - it was crazy. I’d be up at all hours - long after the reasonable world closed its eyes. I’d walk the halls, seemingly everywhere, like Shakespeare’s eleven ghosts.
That’s a poetic queue if I ever heard one..
She shuns her weary bed
in the darkened hush of midnight
when slumber should rule
Her pale brow needs no rest,
so she wraith-like roams her parent’s home.
Fey and fleet, her footsteps falling soft
in shadows thick as underworld
She’s the grinning ghost
in the game room - a sleepless phantasm
moving to dance-dance-revolution’s beat
in seeming revelry wild.
She’s the gliding spirit in the endless, well-lit pool,
slicing effortlessly through the glass-slick turquoise,
a selkie-sleek mermaid in a loop of back and forth
making the pitch-night, an otter's roam.
To the kitchen then, this lissome spectre paces,
restlessness and moonlight walks compel cravings
she’s not seeking the company of other restless souls
- she’s searching for yummy Totino's Pizza Rolls.

Robotnik soul-clocks, we are evolving;
Technological has lifted our metallic hand.
Soul-clock robotnik is revolving—
Transhumanistic retaliation of pineal gland.
Congregation spawns mechanical Sun
Which orbits unprogrammed lands.
I have copulated with cybernetic mother!
We shall suckle on her nipple-node,
Experiencing REM as we enter her RAM!
Helman's donkey; everlasting journey—
I have entered realms of computation strand!
Cold womb mechanism enables robotnik-cunt closing;
Beneath old servers reside shadow lands.
Pollution churns and corrupts the system!
The barren seas echo scorched sand.

I'm missing some stiches,
flawed genetic patterns

Fold for life, unfold for death.
Conscience coming on strong.
What are your regrets?
These bones would be between my
fingers regardless.
All good fun in tow,
but now your ghost knows.
You had a show to live,
and yes you did.
I see my feet fall
within your prints.
All good to blame,
when I'm doing this.

Frowning in silence, gave me a personality of its own!
Childish face, surrendered me to leave things unsolved!
Shyness led me to keep million of things undisclosed!
After all that
And
I´m still looking for that fingerprint, that would get me
Peace!

Genetic engineering’s here to stay
Possibilities are endless, scientists say:
Men mixed with anything we can find:
Oak trees, wasps, ants and elephants combined.
Satanic horror armies sweep their enemies away
And Frankenstein’s monster’s little but child’s play
Compared with these.
Yet with Good intent,
And wisdom heaven sent,
Utopia or Paradise could be on its way:
Bumper bug-free harvests every day,
Giant fruit and docile, friendly beasts.
Food for all, and endless feasts.
All manner of
Good
Or Evil
Is within
Our grasp.
It’s down to us.

building up
a big mountain
then tear it down
give it to the clowns
nosebleed
for a feast
endless bottom
as a treat
*it’ll likes get up
tear it down
it’ll likes get up
tear it down*
trail of tears
chopped off
nail of thoughts
stopped short
ego invoice
taking drugs
fat berg sewer
horrible vanity
*it’ll likes get up
tear it down
it’ll likes get up
tear it down*
