Men, I just want you to understand something. We, women, simply want to be loved and respected. Loved for our actions, our hearts, and the way we laugh at your silly jokes—not for our physical appearance that we were genetically given. We wish that when you love us, you would stop constantly looking at other women. Love begins with loyalty. Even just watching other girls the way you do, just to “feast your eyes,” disgusts us. In life, there is more to admire than a woman’s body. We are not objects or toys meant to entertain you. We would like you to stop making degrading comments, especially around your friends. Talking to multiple girls at the same time is so off-putting. Having talked to many girls just to end up dating one—it’s just so frustrating. When you find the right one, try to imagine how she feels knowing she was just one among many. We’re supposed to feel special in your eyes, while it’s been that way for hundreds of others before… Your eyes go to disrespectful parts of women’s bodies, and somehow that’s been normalized in society. A man shirtless, in shorts—that’s fine. But a woman in a skirt is called a **** Whistling at us makes you think you’re alpha males, when really you just look like cavemen. We don’t fantasize about your “third leg,” so at least keep your eyes to yourselves.
