Putting my shoes on backwards — stepping straight back to the past, searching for another path; where the fisherman never loses hope of reeling in something worth keeping. _Another catch…fishing, baiting, catching on hope’s lines._ We filled each other’s hearts with perfect laughs, ran side by side on the marathoner’s road — but I never thought love would be the trickiest mile. Hey — whatever happened to that silly boy who swore he loved all of your vibrations, the ringtone that made him dance whenever you called his name? He smiled in group photos with friends he didn’t like anyway — if it meant he could fit into your picture, He’d frame his discomfort and pose. He’d stand in the rain just to give you a sunny day. He wore casual smiles to match every conversation, he played your superman in shorts, his confidence a little short too; fogging his own glasses with the breath of your words. We stood so close the air between us could have been a kiss, but we stayed as friends, our thoughts and hopes sealed under the covers of  “what if.” But we dressed our hearts in dreams of maybe — perfect lovers undercover, hiding in plain sight because losing each other would hurt more than never trying.

Perfect Lovers Undercover
i don’t mean to sound conceited but i know deep down you still think about me the way you look out into the oblivion the sense of having no idea reminds you of my oblivious self i regret not seeing into the future but i should have known we’d end up like this no words leave your sweet lips you’re too afraid to swallow your dignity   but i can’t hate you over my own flaw we’re so **** stubborn neither of us will win this love but who could lose over a concept that’s not there a senseless battle between two people with no remorse to their own feelings but only for their own pride and popularity

This Love
I found this man Loving a friend of mine Yet he was rejected by the love of his life He cant accept this strife And a woman accompanying him In the middle of his pain He sways with him with a beautiful hymn And then he had this energy to love again

Friends to lovers, How unusual it is. But in my own case, I guess it’s destiny. By chance we met, Through similarities we clicked. Though we have different views, We have the same point in the end. We shared our own desires And dark secrets no one knew. In times of problems, We help each other find ways. Some people see us As a potential couple; But we decline to believe And we know it won’t happen. I was eyeing for someone But he kept ignoring my feelings; You knew all about it So you helped me to get noticed. But months have passed, Still nothing happens; You were there to comfort When I’m about to lose hope. Yet this drove us To be much closer to each other; Romantic feelings triggered And ended up as one. And now I've realized that, In the place I considered home, There lies all the answers: It was you all along.
