A fleeting glance that changed our lives,
You with your dark hair,
Me with my bright eyes.
A helping hand that pushed us along,

Into a song.
You looked at me and my heart hit the floor,

That you opened a door,
The door to my heart,

The first words I spoke,
I told you my name,
I was sure I would choke,
On my words, but they came.
Words cannot describe the way that I feel,
The way you turned my world around,
And made my head reel.
