#favour
In the new world of books, Where the hungry mind's meal is cooked. Laid ancient artifacts. Golden treasure that the unborn yearn to behold. This treasure caught my busy sight, Which hungers for root of the rare gem. My legs drove me here like a fast bike. It covers 5 meters in a second, Just to take a glimpse this diamond. A mountain of books. An ocean of map, a guide to today's writers. Their quills had dried up long ago, Yet their words still drip ink on our tongues. Scrolls of Aristotle and Shakespeare won war. The war against time that makes things lost. Your words are not trend that are visitors. But your ink is like the earth that never stop. Your ink shine as though made now. I use your ink in writing this scroll. Ink men of today still drip your ink on their scroll. Will our ink still shine if time tests the scroll?

The Ancient Ink
"You are neither here nor there,   How can you be successful?"—a voice in the air.   It muttered once, but I heard it thrice,   A haunting echo, not so nice.   I reflect deep—could this be me?   Is it instinct or a mind not free?   Am I imagining things in vain?   But he is right, and I feel the strain.   Jack of all trade and master of none,   But one who masters will inspire someone.   Too many tasks leave all half done,   While one at a time brings work well spun.   All in one is same as nothing,   But one in one births everything.   I do not write this to condemn,   You can succeed with more than ten.   But purpose and vision must lead the way,   Without them, you’re a leaf that sways.   A man without vision is like a trash,   Waved by the wind in a reckless dash.   I’m glad I’ve found my voice at last,   Through Poetry, wisdom shall be cast.

THE VOICE THAT SPOKE
Osaro is in iron prison, Drowning in deep river of pain, Seeking for an escape route, None found. Can't speak. But painfully cries at heart, Thinking of the glue joining him to hot *** His sugar cause him this bitter moment. His joy makes him cry all day. He gives her milk. She demands for honey, Directly from bee, Good for her system. He gives her honey. She demands for sugar, Sweeter than honey. Sugary river expands love, So her love will flow like sweet river. He gives her sugar. "No," she says, She wants the provisions of fruits, juice and food, So she can be a leaf. He makes these ready. She then demands for mansion, Containing meal and fun. That will suffice her. He bond himself (in debt), And hands her the key To her mansion, Beautiful like the garden of Eden. She says, "No! Why will I be among the least? I want an estate, Not small, But vaster than an empire." He bonds himself, Sells his siblings, Robs, And sells all his acquaintances. And buys an estate for her. Still yet, she envies, Jealous all day. Listens to air. Sees the world (on Instagram). Though among the top, She wants to be the very top. She then demands for the whole world. Perplexed and Overwhelmed. Frustrated and swimming in a pool of thought. Osaro doesn't know what to do. He is now a bondman. He gained nothing in all, And he had lost all. All works on woman. No reward, no profit. His loss is her gain. In frustration, he brings out a knife, And hands it to his delight: "Since I can't satisfy you, I present my head As a living sacrifice. Take it, And have the whole world."

"Do me a favour" you say, and so I do But then one favour turns into two, And two favours turns into three, Until there isn't time for me. "Do me a favour" I say, but you decline. You say you simply have no time, To return the favour that I gave, "Do it yourself; I'm not your slave" Doing a favour, with none returned Should feel like nothing's being earned, But only if you do not see, I do them not for you, but me. "Do me a favour" and, once again, I do, And when one favour turns into two, And you don't return a single one, I'm laughing to myself; I've won!

Enlighten me with your Light
He told Let me be the one You could flourish with Being a best version of yours Of all time long Even if, There is 1% chance I will hold on Believing the universe Someday will be In our favor Being the witness That's what, I know

Human Element
It took me sinking to rock bottom, to truly appreciate some of the simple beauty in life that we may sometimes take for granted. Like a friend who supports you, appreciates you and is there for you in the tough times. They are the people that make life that little bit easier and that bit more enjoyable. Keep them close and always return the favour.

Rock bottom
Psalms 23 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. In the presence of my enemies... IN THEIR FACE! Right there in full view, where they can't ignore it - You lavish your favour. You flourish extravagance. You banish restraint. You shout exuberance. At the prepared table we feast together - a glass sloshing, chin dripping, teeth staining, finger licking, shirt smearing, belt loosening, belch competing, mouth spilling, song inducing, mum tutting FEAST! - right there before my dumbfounded enemies and in your glorious presence. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.

Feast
A glimmer, A glimmer of something. Obscured vision, Justified by your intensity. Your light, Piercing the darkness. Man made objects Try to cause you to waver, But nothing can stop you from the favour. Similar objects Cannot compare, Nothing out there is anywhere as fair. Should you die - the glimmer would too... Then I would not know how to find my way out of the darkness that I have consumed.

Hope as a Light
I want to be in favour Like a cranberry in a liquor Like the Moon in a starry night Like a candle when there's no light I want to be in favour Of someone that I am prefer Of someone who grew a pair of wings Flew away while I was here singing Singing about a city of stars Singing to the distance, too far Although waiting sounds so lame I just don't know who else's name I want to be in favour Not to be loved, that's for sure Not to hold hands, not to see eyes But I can't help, you're in my favour

Me
"Do me a favour; do something else". Do me a favour; mind for yourself. Do me a favour; stop pretending you care, Do me a favour; do not "be there" Do me a favour; just let me fall, Do me a favour; don't even call, Do me a favour; don't speak at all Eradicating you might be too kind, Perhaps ****** might be too kind.

Do Me A Favour
They follow you inside Searching for a favour You offer, mindlessly They accept, gratefully You hand it over and They posess great thanks To the extent of expressing Their words in a poem They produce a journal Which prods you to smile You took them for an artist But never for a poet Your face lights up As they tell you more Life touches you like that Until next drunken time

Poets Under The Influence
Their path so smooth. Their destination so near; But I tread path much crude. My destination so unclear. 'Why God is so cruel'; They pity looking at me. But poor they, I pity them. Wish to lend my eyes to see. O God! I am so grateful to you; For your favour on me. Sweetness of water is known; But to only a man thirsty.

Favour of God
The Artists ideology their insight and vision. Love their biology see their division. Lines of colour, flowing and forming, seemingly fuller haphazard and warming. The Critic explores the artist, their passion to find what they strive for. Their ideals and fashion. But some critics talk waste when they try to show what is our taste as if we don't know.

Critic
Strange are your ways Oh world! You ask me what do I stand to gain When I help strangers on their way Pause to give my time Spend so much of it in selfless care What do I stand to gain? When I make your burdens mine Think you'll need my help And lend my shoulder to lean What do I stand to gain? When I work for you and your pain I see beyond your need To what my help can mean What do I stand to gain? When you stretch out your hand And look my way Knowing maybe somewhere Someone will open their heart in true care What do I stand to gain? When I love so deep Knowing time and again that it will hurt You may care not a dime And you may never return the time What do I stand to gain? I smile and reply I stand to gain nothing Cause if I did want anything in return My hand I would not extend A self serving attitude is not mine Don't try to reason, cause you won't find I choose to love freely and openly It's for you to decide You want to use me or love me To each one his own I have chosen this path To be free from expectations Hurt not and you will not be hurt You decide what's for you to do. On the other hand cannot stop what I do For the only thought that governs me Is Someone some where is aching just like me When I need it so badly I know what I see And then unconsciously I reach out Thinking I am stretching into infinity You see this life is a full circle And one day it'll come back to me So I am doing myself a favor, actually :-)
