A white light slipped into my dark room.
I felt its presence,
warm, inviting.
I moved closer,
but it was only a reflection
in a mirror of passing metal.
Was the light even there?
or it was just an illusion?

I will meet you on the bridge where sun kissed the earth.
I will hold you when sun rises in the west.
I will be with you when stars peep during the daylight.
I will kiss you when oceans don't give birth to seas.
I will love you when the sky goes to sleep without it's blanket of clouds.
I will be yours' forever and ever when my heart doesn't bleed red.

you are just like all the other houses
you are unstable
you may fall apart
slowly
then
all at once
when I least expect it
if I don't leave
you will cave in on me
sooner or later
and if you don't
I will be isolating myself
from the world,
waiting for the unknown
and listening to false promises.
