#equalityforall
I am not a feminist but,
an emotional being—
a soul that belongs
neither here nor there,
simply human,
a heart that feels.
Everyone should look
through the glasses of equality,
a lens without hierarchy.
Bring every opinion
to the middle of the bridge
where
no one is misandrist,
no one misogynist.
Let us not hide
behind walls of excuses,
built from prejudice—
bricks too weak
can't hold the truth.
Yesterday, I reached out
my hands for your growth.
Today, it is your turn
to lift me.
And one day,
we will finally stand together—
not as labels,
but as human beings.

I’m not black.
I’m not black but I see how you’re mistreated
I’m only 13 but I fight for the people who have pleaded
And begged to be free of all the pain, they just want to get away
But still we make ‘em stay
Who are we for killing them anyway?
See I’ve been wishing and praying that the world will be changing
Soon
Cause I don’t want to be out on a sunny afternoon
And see the yellow tape
Blocking my way
Making me late
But I don’t care.
I wanna stay
And help
The people crying in the streets cause someone’s dying in the streets
With a knee up to their neck
Or a gun up to their head
No reason for them to be dead except the fact
That they are black.
And that’s not right.
We have to fight for what’s right
Because blacks are people
We’re all equals
I know it.
And there’s no doubt that you know it too
So stand up, speak out
It’s the right thing to do.

"Sleep no more."
The girl hangs her head in shame.
"Sleep no more."
Says the rich man in vain.
"Sleep no more."
Cries the mother in pain.
"Sleep no more."
A teenager lies alone.
"Sleep no more."
Whispers the wind all alone.
"Sleep no more."
We say as our true selves are shown.
It does not matter who or what you are.
If you are a rich man or a lonely weeper
We are all equal in the eyes of the Reaper.
