#enterprise
The Enterprise; She sails again! Through the velvet sky! The networks tried to cancel her But she will NEVER die! For She is not a ship of steel. For steel can turn to dust. She is not a ship of iron. For iron can turn to rust. She is not a silver ship That sails our star flung sky. More real than that; A ship of dreams, And Dreams can never die!

SHE'LL SAIL FOREVER
I don't know what you were doing, But you look like a dog That just stole the roast From right off the table! Actually, I know it, I'm just giving it a better face. In that mercy, is it grace? Is it blessing? Are you saved? Anchors like weights, Writs from writers acting Behind the curtains. I fear they don't even know it's a play, But they're aware there's stakes. Whatever press representative That today flirt nationally Are riddled with stains. Very few apart from the alternative, Though they have well suffered By those who are dependents. Who is guilty? Who is judging?

I Think Not & Judge Less
Crimes gone on and on and against all humanity with a refusal to ever scrutinize Twist the rule of law to accommodate the blatant lies they prioritize on both sides That's the American dream, can only be seen behind closed eyes Allowed to look but can't touch the prize, that's the hook, the bait and switch slight of hand is no surprise A separate set of law books slipped in on the sly, guess the compromise One for the citizen and one for the almighty enterprise, just dollar signs in their eyes All for one and one for all, false bravado, see what happens when a nobody tries See how quick a global problem is prioritized to keep in check a global unrest notably on the rise Also on the rise, fear of a population turned unbiased congregation then weaponized Who exactly are the good guys? If it's a non zero number I'd be surprised Who would have guessed that building an enterprise on the lives of the little guys would be a possible demise? 🎼If you go into my neck of the woods prepare for a big surprise A lone baby cries it's own lullabies through innocent eyes as innocence dies The evil in people is all that thrives, it's never been the best of times🎼 ©2023

~•§•~ Sleight of Hand ~•§•~
So humble and so demure. Yet . . . . . . . . . . . you still freak me the **** out with everything you do. You amaze me just so you'll absorb me, I know. Then we'll both become one. I've been erased, now (I'm) no-one. Poetry by Kaydee.

Your Love is Borg.
Mountebanks and madmen And marvelous maidens Populate and pollute politics Which joss sticks cannot chase Or alleviate the electorate In its counter clockwise swirl Down its own bathroom drain. Only morals don’t ameliorate It only exacerbates, enervates Rather than eliminates the pain. The pain is felt by franklins, Never the nobles or magnates; They go on and make play dates With other multi-billionaires In debonair pied-a-terre lofts And scoff at the peasantry While exchanging pleasantries Over gold-laced desserts Thinking nobody gets hurt If they pilfer and pillage Far off village and town Tearing down and razing, With life grazing scorched earth. To the rich, nobody has worth; Voices that implore are muted And garbage-chuted in the press. Nothing to confess, the smile; A mile of porcelainized teeth Made more intense by pretense That importance is impotence In the face of extreme wealth When stealth cease efficacy And delicacy isn’t required. The moral judge is fired. A new wife is squired In hopes a son is sired To take over the empire.
