the way i love you is like an atomic bomb. dangerous and overpowering -- absolutely nuclear. when it drops, it's undeniable and the mushroom cloud thereafter blocks your lungs, making it hard to breathe.

(And I've been picking dandelions) The rush of wind chases a wayward cloud Over the foliage's luscious green mounds It billows on its good fortune allowed Feeding flowers leave stock's roots underground Petals bloom; centered bud's pollinations The sun burdens and caresses at once The bumble lost its edge to pollutants Overcome in the tepid meadows grace The seasons start to grow long and narrow Encompassing the changing of our times within their altering breadths; to and fro It's shown upon the rocks face's in tides She's beauty, ruffling with sents of sweet dew And in her pluck, spring has become renewed

Sonnet #64 There are many flowers in the meadow
Others promised to fill your eyes with stars. Only stars. But I will populate your mind with galaxies, complete the space with swirling clouds of asteroids and black holes to swallow your sadness. After all, stars are obviously bright and beautiful, but alone. I will help to discover somewhere within yourself the need to create constellations of us, where our myths and morals intertwine. You and I and our moments, syzygy. Gravity only exists, so we can fall together but still weightless to see that our mass doesn’t affect our matter. How stars collapse under their own weight, fading out, is so unlike the way we expand amongst the cosmos, heavenly bodies of ours joining the rest in the halo, interstellar where I will cascade over you, a pulsar radiating waves of energy. These shockwaves form a singularity of us, with no time or direction but we know what we are; a meteor shower for those still simply Earth bound. Gazing into the sun, they promised stars, blinded. Blinding, our explosion of formation from nothing. Let there be planets where beings flourish and evolve, and I will gift you their moons, the craters filled with dust of my words hidden where no winds can ever disturb them. They promised you stars, so you can become a satellite and orbit and worship their light. I will give myself, a supernova, and you will learn to craft galaxies so I can explore them within you, and revel at the beauty of the unknown. Our universe won’t fit in their telescopes. V. K.

I love you doesn't encompass the warmth that spreads through my soul I love you doesn't realize the need for your friendship I love you is so generic, so simple, that it really has little at all I want to say that with you, the world is at my fingertips, with you I feel alive, with you my heart races a nascar driver's and wins. I love you doesn't amount to much, it's three simple words, But then again, no words ever do. Because words are lost in seas of actions, and picture's speak a 1000 times faster in their 5x7 frames But it's the look of your eyes, the caress of your touch, that says I love you, So much more infinitely than I could ever dream And I'm left sitting here, scrawling down syllables, trying to capture the infinity that is emotion.

Infinity
we take a breath I have a smoke thank you for giving me your cold you rub the menthol on my chest I hold the camphor to my breast sometimes all it takes is just a jacket button to break. 10 minutes on they'll drink champagne and have their fun with party games everybody yelling "cheese" 10 minutes from a third-world country in the shadow of the rock they don't have anyone that'll help there isn't garbage on the ground its the street that makes up the whole town I know you don't even want to talk You won't even take my calls} After three years on and off I would do anything at all. Have the child of my blood Then with blood I'd have enough. Just a picture fairy tale For a man with a cold and betrayed.
