#embryo
Rain is The dance of intertwined souls, Whispers of lovers beneath moonlight, An eternal prayer of love and boundless giving. Nature’s song in muted syllables, A kiss of passion and beauty upon the earth. The embryo of new life, A promise of roses and tulips yet to bloom. A liberation of the mind—from the chains of fear and stress. A call to awakening, A beginning with a rebirth of hope. The essence of life—God’s sacred water. Hussein Dekmak

Rain
It's dark but it won't stay this way When a broken heart releases some of the pain With a goodbye to yesterday And a welcomed smile for today It is like a burst of song Knowing tomorrow may never come A moment where night becomes day To focus on life again. © Debra Lea Ryan 21.04.2025

A Prayer Haiku
--- i began as a spark / i have a father and i have a mother / i could be your sister / i     could be your brother / i am broken           under a surgical knife / medical garbage        that once was a life         i might have been   named if given a chance / i might have married and       i might have danced                i will never be born                          i'll never draw           breath   mom's life will be shattered because of my death a glint in dad's eyes but no thought in his head i once was a baby ***and now I am DEAD.***
