To be poor is to go back in time
I have eaten dandelions out of the backyard
And contemplated the guillotine
The revolution of a coin
Skittering to a stop.

Can you hear all the screaming and crying?
Can you bear the fearful calls of the dying?
Haunting, I say
They won't see another day
They've been long lost and far gone
Not a single thing to be done
For those who will perish
There's nothing left to cherish
Dull eyes, staring and gawking
Cruelly laughing, viciously mocking
Ignoring the tears
Evoking their fears
The true beasts who stand above us all
Keeping them up while making us small
Us having to carry
Not getting to marry
This broken country will never heal
I can feel their pain
Running through our veins
Hoping to ease the suffering
I promise,
it will soon begin

The big man on top sits at a table. They all laugh in rich. No rules, no etiquette, just pure greed along the people.
They step on their servants, they spit on the chef. No respect for anyone.
Top of the ladder, lots of green.
Crumbled up many of us to get to see the view of the world.
World on a silverplatter, you can have it all.
What do you choose to do? Make it better? Make the people happier?
Greed.
Violance, chaos, making us their puppet show. Our blood, our tears doesn’t make them frown.
Puppets. Crankle up our bones, murdering us, making our life more stirred up for their enjoyment.
More green. More greed.
The people at the table take their glass, and take a toast for one more year at the top.

The rich never speak badly about money because they have it all.
The poor say “money can’t buy happiness.”
That’s true; money can buy drugs, *** houses, and cars.
No matter how much *** you have or drugs, you’ll always come down.
Houses and cars aren’t alive; they can’t be.
You can’t buy love.
The poor are right, but they are also the fools.
They believe in happiness; they believe that if they just keep going for one more day, maybe they’ll be happy.
The rich are fools for believing they are rich.
No one is rich; after all, money isn’t real, and neither are they.
But if you have enough money, maybe just maybe, you can fool yourself into believing happiness is real.
