is a most precarious point
to be stationed
the slightest tremor
can topple down the tip's vantage
engineers know this
yet some will insist
on being seated trickily there
clinging to the edge
like inane humpty dumpty
setting himself well up for
an inglorious fall

Humpty Dumpty, sat gazing up.
Up on a day at noon.
He smiled with song in his heart,
and soon began to croon.
He echoed near and echoed far.
He sang out as men came.
On horses they gathered near,
to think he was not sane.
He sat not caring what they thought,
for with voice he sang loud.
Though he had an off key sound,
he sang and felt so proud.
But in his quest to sing loud,
he lost his balance true.
All kings men were yes in shock.
They didn't know what to do.
They tried to piece him back, they did.
Their intentions were pure.
So to honor Humpty's quest,
they sang off key some more.

Humpty Dumpty was not like other eggs
He had a face, arms and legs
All he did was sit on a wall
Was he not afraid of taking a fall?
But I guess he knew that all to well
For he had old cracks all over his shell
But there he sat without a care
Couldn't he just sit in a comfy chair?
But Humpty Dumpty however
Will not sit on the wall forever
Because there will come a time when
He can't be put back together again
