The Dressing of Things
Feeling good is: Greeting a stranger with a smile, Chatting with your elderly neighbor's, And treating them with care and compassion. Soothing another's pain, Feeding hungry stomachs, Standing with the oppressed, Rendering service to others for no return. Exploring a new idea, Enriching your knowledge, Reflecting and pondering, Planting the seeds of positive change. Listening to the whispers of love, Inspiring the next generation, Being around intelligent people, Enjoying the company of soft-hearted friends. Restoring people's shattered dreams, Be their candle and their lifeboat, Listening to the cries of innocent souls, And showing them the way to a new dawn. Lifting the spirit of the broken-hearted, Delivering them through a helping hand, Dressing your soul in a garment of giving. Lifting your voice to be the champion of the forgotten. Counting your blessings, Reciting your prayers, Contemplating the universe, Listening to nature’s songs with muted words. Hussein Dekmak

Feeling Good
If you wanted me to go shopping with you I would say yes To every dress As lovers, I'd want to put them on you You'll come out of the fitting room and I'll have to cross my leg over my excitement From how attractive you are Don't insult yourself My body and mind thinks the complete opposite

Dressing Room
Unhinged circus, Requires perfect masquerade, Before gymnasts leap, Into Cinderella's world, Spiralling into fame. Before presenters go on stage, And broadway groups dance, Into undreamt wonders, As actors rise and fall, Her maple core remains. As years elapse, Girls become Women, Perfect maple figure unscathed, Always anticipating moments, Of celebration, love and sorrow. But most of all, I still can't fathom, How the dressing table speaks, Invaluable untold stories.

Dressing Table
When I dress up in completely black, they maybe get the message, and leave me alone, or maybe help me.

Pride
"you've gotten bigger." you say to me as we eat at the same tree that we have eaten at since grade 7. "your hair looks horrible" you say to me as we get ready to go to his party. "your acne is coming back" you say to me as we get ready for prom and our dates. and one day i skip lunch and you ask why and i shrug. and one day i curl my hair for the first time and you as why and i shrug. and one day i wear lots of make up and you ask why and i shrug. but that night i slit my wrist and swallowed pills instead of dressing up. why you might ask? because i'm horrendous inapplicable disgusting. don't you remember the days you reminded me? well here you go.

am i pretty now?
I wake up in the morning And slip on a pair of boots But I realise apart from this I am naked So I dress and undress and dress again But now I’m wearing no boots So I think and I dress again But no I have no voice So I undress and pace and dress But now I am the opposite *** Now a dog; a cat; a door (this is all very complicated and confusing Let me assure you that.) So I try again But these are childs clothes Now there are no clothes So I return to bed where I am ****
