#dominoes
A chess board
Piece by piece
Pawn to E4
Queen to F6
Checkmate
Colours swirl
Insects bite my bones
Am I safe now?
Will it end?
Checkmate
Dominoes
Piece by piece
Knock on wood
Check the bone pile
I won again
Hearts yearn
Time falls
Am I safe now?
Yes
I won again
Periodic table puzzle
Piece by piece
Elements collide
Time ticks
Finished
Grandfather clock ticks
Leaves bustle
Ants crawl
This time has to end
Finished

She moves fast like a city
full of names, things to do,
and places to be.
No matter how fast she moves,
there is always a spot for you.
Regardless of where you go,
not every woman, not every city,
is the same.
She highlights her personality,
the buildings of her priorities,
Her personalities,
like dominos
uncovered and placed strategically.
The way she was raised,
the not so pretty parts,
Behind the well known parts
of her,
not necessarily put away.
But still, there is a place for you.
Whether it's a quiet night in,
or an event organized
to get to know each other better,
the margins of her heart beat for you
Between the counties.
Although she moves fast,
and one day with her varies from the next,
she's not afraid to let you know that she's busy.
Once she handles all of her business,
be ready to catch up on all that missed time.
But don't forget
she doesn't just find the time
to call or text.
She shows up.
You too are a part of her world

why?
if i fall
then R falls
then A falls
then H falls
then A falls
then G falls
then L falls
then K falls
then S falls
then E falls
but what if they fall first?

Dominoes On Pizza
Look at you,
You look so delicious.
No one can hear you,
You are godless.
Oh little pizza,
You look so tasty,
All I want to do is put you in my mouth!
The taste and feeling,
Takes me to my higher self!
I like to play dominoes on pizza,
Adds another dimension of flavor!
A nice thick base!
With tomato paste!
Clothed in cheese!
Sporting meaty toppings!
I like the taste when it’s fresh outta the oven!
Not when it is reheated the very next morning!
Oh my sweet little pizza!
You bring a rainbow of flavor!
I lift you gently up to my face,
A quivering lip reveals my excitement.
You look like a great appetizer!
You shall sedate my endless hunger!
At least till the next one.
Slice them!
Dice them!
Eat them!
Digest them!
I love the taste of a screaming pizza,
It brings in a very interesting flavor.

I saw them, I sw**r
Sometimes they were in line,
Sometimes scattered everywhere
I saw them around me
They were on the ground
Leave them alone and
They'll never make a sound
Touch them the wrong way
And if they’re close, they’ll crumble
In their downfall
In the end, they'll always lose their humble
I can’t see the difference
Is it just me or they are all the same
They’re just clones of each other
I can feel their pain
I couldn’t tell them apart
Without my fingertips
They’re all duplicates
A species of a looped never-ending clips
What if
I am just as bare,
Another domino
I can’t recognise my own reflection
So I guess I’ll never know.

All in this together.
All in this forever.
All have influence.
Each choice has continuance.
Every person you know:
a living domino.
Think twice about how
you unwittingly allow
their pushes to make you bow.
And think thrice about who
comes leaning on you,
for not every pathway is true.

Hear the emptiness deep within
There are echos of grief and sin
All the petals now are finally gone
The thorns rip like the words to a song
And all that is sacred is bled
And it's dead
No one cares
And nothing's said
The moments are boulders in your head
Avalanching from the lies you said
And the winter's warmth is false comfort
The winds chide and howl in retort .
And all that once was you
Has flown
South by Southwest
Now is unknown
And the children laugh and play
Oblivious to the pain's display
And you wonder of a poem in Blue
A distant path you once knew
And the tempuous
Tides have changed
For the once courageous . . .
Now deranged

*"I had it memorized" he said "from the very first day
And nothing could ever take that away"
The late night phone calls and sweet off key songs
Bring me the lyrics and I'll sing along
And you sang
"Dear, oh my dear
You don't know how much I feel for you
My heart oh it's breaking, it's breaking in two
I've always felt like this
Oh, can't you see
The person you're meant to love
Honey that's me"
Our duet resounds on the pages like so
Breaths becoming words-swinging to and fro
Your hands brushing mine and dominoes
Falling and breaking
Landing in a row
And you sang
"Dear, oh my dear
You don't know how much I feel for you
My heart oh it's breaking, it's breaking in two
I've always felt like this
Oh, can't you see
The person you're meant to love
Honey that's me"
The memories pass and the song's in reverse
Wondering who could rewrite the verse
Oh talking was sweet but it feels even better
Oh my dear I rewrote this love letter:
Dear, oh my dear
I'm sorry that your heart was breaking
And there's nothing I could do to resolve the aching
I don't feel like you do
And my heart was breaking but he found the glue
Honey i'm not the one that you're meant to love
So breathe in the air and not my perfume
Bring a pencil and write your own tune
Love even more and love even better
Check your grammar and write a love letter*
