Oh postosuchus, how your eyes pierce my tender heart like how teeth penetrate flesh and bone. I feel the weight of your love... your perfect, yet messy black hair when it's pulled back into a delicate ponytail— It makes my mind go almost as limp as my knees. God, could I just taste every vibration in your nervous little remarks and adorable sentences even when they're not towards me. Give me your music, give me your time, and give me the thunder that came with the lovestrike that hit me so hard I fell all over again when I thought trust was never something I could have regained for myself. You don't even know me that well, but I've been thinking of you every night and I just can't fall asleep thinki— Right ummm... postosuchus...

Dinos And Dragons
1. Dinosaurs are Birds not Reptiles. 2. “Not even a Sparrow falls apart from the Father.” (Matthew 10:29) 3. Though this has its funny aspects it's not satire, it's true. God was in a joyous mood When He created Birds! That fifth yom He went feather-wild! Heaps of herds and hoards of Birds. From Mountains high to Oceans blue. This World was theirs, forever so! Eternal-Now was all they knew! And it was all that they COULD know! They roared and danced And sung and pranced, Became enhanced; And grew and GREW And GREW and GREW! They shrieked in glee! (Pure wild! Pure free!) Lept to to the thundering, cloudy skies They seized the sparkling blue! For sixty-million, dragon years They tended their young And ruled the skies! The few who saw the bad rock                                                                                                                f    a        l          l Gazed calmly with unknowing eyes! One moment live, the next one, dead! (To think such rocks still out there: Dread!!!!) In Just one breath most Birds were GONE!!! But Mammals lived and carried on! Then along came Humanity, With our Divine Insanity. 0ur Crazy-Dream that Death could DIE!! But is that silly, really? Really, really silly?                                             ?                                            !                                         y When Quadrupeds     l Had learned to……. F So we grew up in ALL WAYS into Christ.* Lost our meanness, became nice! And We built Ourselves a Treasure-Square!* All of life and love are there! Though the stars contract And the Cosmos cracks The worlds shrink back And the atoms snap! And the Big Crunch wins Inside that Cube we live as Kings! Covered in millions of flashing jewels! Nothing and never is anything cruel! Kindness and Joy, Logic and Love, Always, always, ALWAYS the rule! With every environment wild or tame From Bedford Falls to Istanblane Anything that you could want! From Gems and gold to Elephants! “The Dinosaurs went extinct because they did not have a space program.” Arthur. C. Clarke. I stand here at the checkout line “Paper or plastic?” the young Clerk states Unthinking and so innocent! (No knowledge of the bag’s long fate). They were big and wondrous Birds With flashing feathers, wild and free! The World was theirs. Forever so From Hill to Dale, and Swamp to Sea! For Sixty-Million-Dragon years! They danced and fought and sexed and loved! Knew nothing of dark, deadly rocks Hurled from the sizzling skies above! To them it was forever NOW; Tended their Young and won the skies. The few who saw the bad thing fall Gazed calmly with unknowing eyes. How suddenly their chirps were lost! One moment live, the next all gone! In but a blink the Birds were dead! We Mammals lived and carried on! Flash forward back ten million years. Big Boxes are our Planet’s fads. Big Bird’s goo, just auto food! Just gas and oil and plastic bags!

Necessary NASA
God did not destroy the Dinosaurs He gave them wings! Why oh why do we ever doubt That He will do the same for us? They didn't die, those mighty Beasts! But tooth and claw and snarls and roars were tamed to chirps and feathers!' If God can tame the mighty Dinosaur Why oh why do we ever doubt That He will do the same for us? The Dinosaurs were huge with pride. Defiantly they roared at rocks that fell! For all the good it did. The rock still f                           E                              L                                 l! Time is God’s strong Healer. It raises Beasts and casts them to the dust. Yet through all of this a Golden Thread Treads down evolution’s path. It goes Somewhere. Oh yes! Oh yes! If God can fell The Mighty Dinosaur And yet raise him to the soaring skies, Why oh why do we find it So very hard to believe That He won't do the same to us?

WINGS
When Dinos looked up at the sky What Dragon Dreams did they desire? What longings stirred their Reptile Hearts? What set their scaly Souls on FIRE!!? Evolution says the tomes Consists of strength and skill not hope. The ones who can out breed the ones Who simply cannot cope. But look! Most Dinos lost their genes To Meteor's fiery, snuffling crash. Skillessness was not the cause That doomed them to a dead-end past. But some did change themselves to Birds With wings and ways to reach the skies! Strength and skill were not their Ark: The genes that longed to SOAR survived!

Dragon Dreams
Matthew 5:5 Mighty Monarch of young Earth Black against the Rising Sun! Your Voice like THUNDER, Shook the Hills! You Roared to greet the Terrible Dawn!!! Yours was the way of strength and size! Of prideful being and fright-full might! We tiny Shrews who ****** your eggs Ran like frightened Lunar Shadows at the Coming of the Light! You couldn't comprehend your fate Or to the heights those little Mice would RISE That we who cowered beneath your feet Would grow to soar through Alien Skies! We couldn't comprehend OUR FATE! We ran to flee the Dangerous Morn! Oh that such shivery-little-nothing-beasts Would roar to greet a Different Dawn!

The Meek Inheritors
An aeon I have waited for sea to grind the rocks to sand reclaiming fertile pasture land where once I walked an armoured tank of smashing tail and deafening roar now far from what I was before a pile of bones this fossil beast waiting still to be released

Fossil Beast
It's a good thing we named most of the dinosaurs 100 years ago when we were all into mythology and speaking Latin. If we just had just learned about dinosaurs now and had to name 100s, there'd be a Heckin Chonkosaurus and a Northern Thicc Scaleyboi.

Dinosaur Names
When we're kids, we see dinosaurs and dragons that make our imagination soar. When we're teens, we look at our peers differently than before. And, as an adult, I find it harder to embrace any changes at all anymore. I don't like the world I see. So tell me, what should I do? First, know you're not alone. Then take my hand, and together, we'll make it through.

We'll make it through
"Lo, tremble before my might Shatter ye, all trees blocking me I needn't pay heed to birds of flight Nor great beasts beneath the sea For my wings are powerful legs My wake the thunderous echoing Scatter beta predators, you dregs! As I give chase that's harrowing Dear prey, your futile efforts fail Beneath teeth, your meat I shall annex I am gigantic from teeth to tail The legend of Tyrannosaurus Rex" The small boy snarled and sat alone, the fearful quickly exiting the sandbox

Tyrannosaurus Rex
Baby, we're a meteor and we killed the dinosaurs. We scorched the Earth and turned all that was into ash. Time has passed, and not much has changed. To this day, I find myself studying the fossils and wandering what could have been if we had landed smoothly.

The world we live on The dinosaurs are dead, frozen in place; They have gone, to never be replaced. There is a sinkhole in our planet And it swallows all beauty within it. What is happening to our world before our eyes? And why are we doing nothing to stop it? We are in the eye of the storm, We have safety in numbers. There is a maelstrom so powerful it is eating up the waves And drowning all the fishes. A great blue hole in the ocean swallows the water down a whirlpool; Where is the ocean going? We have harvested the world of all its goodness And the human consumption rate is still growing. The world is dying and we are not crying, Because it is someone else’s problem. We are safe in this lifetime, But our children’s children will die, Because they have no oxygen. (C)2016 Aa Harvey. All Rights Reserved.

At the Intersection
Where did they hide a punch clock in the timeless solace? Or did they hide it all? Perhaps it’s difficult to see some mornings? We walked together to the school bus-stop, Billie Jean and I, …she seemed to have a thing for me although I don’t know why? I had a birth deformity; my feet were horned like snakes, …a scaly-green monstrosity that locked away my heart and mind, …so that; like the time clock, no one would ever see me. Even the trip to doctors in Thebes, it only made it worse, ...all the children in my town found out, and said that I was cursed, An ancient Greek named Urias claimed; That tranquil purple’s peaceful dawn had hid a pitcher of lies, And Zeus’ anger at the act brought down lightning from the skies, …and struck down the people just like me against a ballad of rainbow fusion sunrise. For the dreamy cosmos exercises as the pantomime he realizes, …the many fancies of his disguises that the panoptic mind has in its surmises, And in their parrying fall the distended fragments of the egg, …formed some like me who were formed quite queer, said to come from Apulian’s nightly fall of fear. Glass-bottled visions of events not clear all framed in a circle of Plato’s Great Year. My feet the scaly-green monstrosity which sealed my heart and mind, Billie said it was a gift from that Great Old Father Time, A spring of rocks, a great mountain, a whirlpool and a navel, I guess one day I’ll become them all, if and when I’m able!

Walking through the forest after the rain a man can see the moonlight reflected on green wet leaves one can see some other things, these little pieces of something that for us may seem special they behave like raindrops they sound like incomplete sentences they taste like sedentary thoughts one cannot explain what they are but instead grasp them as black bones from all the dinosaurs that didn't make it to the big successful colorful impact all of these things are nature, us.

Isn't life that way Crowded city streets Breathing stop lights Singing automobiles Quiet in the country White picket fences And tire swings The sky full of stars There are dinosaurs in the grocery store And new born babes leading companies And psychopaths becoming millionaires And then theres you, and then there's me Because life is that way Movies in the theaters Actors sway to the sound of a muse Under staunch direction But we're on a stage Its not all pretend We eat our food And our medicine Still dinosaurs roam the earth And children play on slides And crazy fools play emperors And I can see, and you can see

You'll never know a fairer pod, Than when you meet a therapod; For a therapod will care a lot And doesn't want to scare a *** So if you chance to meet a therapod, Don't think that it's a terror pod – A therapod is a rarer sod, Unless you meet a pair o' pods.
