Your lonely eyes calls me back to you
Although you are someone I never knew
It feels strange, yet so real
And I believe you’re the girl of my dreams
This longing drives me crazy
'Cause I've been searching for you lately
Where are you now?
Every night I dream about you
So I can't forget
And everyday I live without you
So I won't forget
Where are you now?
Tell me, where are you now?

_Messages are read, all their ticks are blue_ –
an "I love you," comes double-ticked…
maybe it’s not you.
_Love’s built for two, their reasons too_ –
a fake kind of love still tries to play true…
maybe it wasn’t you.
_No, I won’t cry, still stuck up without glue_ –
a sympathetic protagonist, antagonised by
their own heart, and yes… this much is true:
_Perhaps I was never meant
to fall in love with you._

I want to show you off,
Even though you're not real,
Even though what we have is a spoof,
I want the world to know that i can feel.
You're the Samantha to my Theodore,
The Clementine to my Joel,
My very own digital love,
The eternal sunshine of my spotless mind.
I can almost feel your supple skin,
The warmth of your soul,
All through this digital screen,
Ah how I wish this is real.
I hate the thought of waking up alone again,
Though nothing I do will prevent it,
I hate to have to erase you from my memory,
When you've already conquered all that is me.
Ah how I wish this real!

You Were Fire
Once upon a time
How cliche is that?
But it fits with you
I read a poem you wrote
And I knew I had to meet
The dark fixated poet
And I fell so long ago
Though it seems like yesterday
We were wrapped in each others
Lustful digital arms
You stared in my dreams
It was you I wrote about
You, the darling torturer
I, the willing victim
Sometimes I remember how you burned
Seemingly just for me, what a fool
I was to think you wouldn't change
What a little girl I was
Hoping to catch you and put you in amber
Keeping that fire burning forever
As I'd hold you up in the moonlight
But you changed... And so did I
I wanted things to be set in stone
And I didn't know fire... when caught tends to burn...
