#deepsea
No matter how far we go, when a life ends in the deep, dark sea, where does it return? Sinking and sinking, down to the place no one has ever known— to the closest point beneath this planet’s skin, does it become a part of it there? And a life that ends in the sky— where does it drift away to? Floating softly, wandering through the air, perhaps becoming a small piece of the wind that someday passes quietly by our side. If so… that wouldn’t be so bad. But if a life ends in that far, faraway universe, what will become of us? Far from the home where we were born, in that silent, dark expanse— what could we ever belong to? If only we could become a single flower on some distant star. But even that flower will never be found by us. In that endless silence, what will hold us, what will we rest our hearts upon, so we may sleep in peace? If I truly understood that longing, I would pick up my pen, and gently write my feelings here.

Dot Space
I can hear the alarm ringing, only this time it had me snoozing, it was only my hands that were moving, like I was in deep-sea holding my breath while swimming. Seahorses they were everywhere, patted me to cheer me up even as they were in pair, asked me to swim deeper if I needed air, I would just listen as if I was in their care. Deep-sea was dark until I see a brilliant shimmer, think to myself there is always light somewhere you just dig deeper, a bloom of jellyfish saw me out of breath to pick me up as I was no swimmer, the light from the other side of the ocean was enough to keep my hopes glimmer. Confused I was as there was now land below the sea, a new world that I am yet to explore and see, seahorses turned into real horses and galloped with me free, told me there is always light at the end if you keep your faith in thee.

Dreaming for Real
Sail with me onto the dreamy Blackened waters evermore Miles from the distant shore Another world to call our own. Perhaps there is no planet here, No tranquil steppe to this precipitous realm Where the pressure aches the whole way down Weightless of a thousand atmospheres My brain quakes a broken stone, Transparent eyes in no place This etherized abyss communicates A world embarked from the known Deeper, deeper must we go Through the darkened deep thorough A gift of its own; this fathomless dome A grounding place to guide us home A thousand times climb below, A million spheres by stars unknown And yet every night in moonlit sight I swim from shore, a stolen beau On fog-filled days I do not see Time comes to pass without a scene To skip along that broken sea And return to toiling soils For when the weather agrees, a diving odyssey Where I sojourn that boundless time; With a murky message from the void that pines To a solemn soul's menagerie Socketed-shapes rapidly move to trace The walls of my sailing-quarter Eyes wide-shut in dumbstruck horror In the darkness; my pale face Drowning in the pitch Dismembered hands claw for the portal In that frozen furled, immortal Blind fringes skitter deep-dark fish One day into this place I will sink And of the land cease to think To call unto other curious souls From that eternal deep below
