dear someone I love,
i'm so angry
maybe not at you but at myself
because you didnt reciprocate my love for you
your love was lust
but the way you kissed me I swear you loved me back
but all this talk
all these comments
were just a desire to be something other than lovers
and it hurt... hurts, so bad
because I think I did love you
you were like a day off from work for the first time in months
a sip of orange juice in the morning
a stormy day after it hadnt rained for too long
and I needed your desire
but you did not need mine
"I'm sorry. I didnt know"
neither did I.
why can't anyone love me and want me the way I do for them?
you'd cancel on me
and that's when i knew
you didnt, and dont, love me back
and you never will.

It read,
The fiery tears on the paper,
Spelled out the words of despondent meaning,
You should have cared,
Look at her now,
Writing poems on how she feels,
The fiery tears have turned into,
POWERFUL WORDS,
Look at her now,
Living the life,
She wanted to live,
No pain, or suffering,
Just a beautiful lush of happiness,
But,
The cut of the rusty silver scissors,
Ravishes the perfect dream,
Time to pick up the pieces again,
Start over,
Be who you wanna be.

Dear Dad,
I realize that I'm not perfect
But I realize now that I'm not worthless
I want to show you my imperfections & insecurities
That no matter how much I try
I won't ever concoct the perfect remedy
What I need to know is that I have love
In me, in you, even for everyone
I want to know what it's like to be alive
To feel emotions, passions; what it's like to strive
I can't tell you that I'll always know right from wrong
But I can tell you that I need to appreciate you
More than ever, before you are gone.

Hello you, I have a few things to say,
and although you are downhearted, I hope they make your day.
Your life took a turn and you fell so hard,
but I promise you're not broken but merely scarred.
Soon things will get better and you'll wake each morning with light in your heart,
with a smile that lives forever within your eyes, moulded like fine art.
I want you to know that you're the most beautiful creation I've ever come across,
you are the beacon of light for so many and if we didn't have you, we'd be at a great loss.
You are the one who can go ahead and actually change the world -
a precious soul who can break the mould and change the ideals that have been furled.
