Talk not of people how very sane; They tear and burn, they droop inflame Figure not how soon, they drift away They were not yours, they go astray How fine the fickle minded brain ! It tickles, turns and rocks and rains Inferring merely in whims and charms Reckoning unknowing at a single disarm Misfired flames that bring to ruins The gentle laughter into heckled fumes Fuming rage that never could **** Yet, had enough to sincerely reveal Displaced prejudice or hurtful losses Not the flower, that I knew apostle Sincere my wishes, apologies true I beg, conclude and give in to you

Contrite’
_Confessor_, I am reborn, Vain with ash and frankincense; Absolved of my inverted pleasures, Reconciled to the morality of suffering. _Confessor_, I am returned, Predestined to gravely offend; Nimbly contrite in my genuflection, Gracefully weak-kneed in my resolve. _Confessor_, I am reborn, Although aged by my discretion; Examined satisfactorily by my conscience, Blessedly relieved through your encouragement. _Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa._

Mea Culpa
Am I doin' alright Am I doin' okay Feels like I'm fallin' away Can't trust myself; don't know what to say Am I feelin' this way Because I know what others say Or because I know that I've strayed from your way I don't care what others say Just wanna be okay Don't wanna stray from your way Just tell me: Am I okay? Am I doin' alright Don't know why I'm feelin' contrite Guilted by others Or knowin' they're right

Are You Upset with Me
You can not see because of the light It is way to bright Let the darkness soothe your sight Relaxe, stop your fight Let the darkness end your blight Welcome in the coming night Make you forget the worlds snakebite That left you feeling so contrite In the darkness your fears you can smite Let the darkness left you upright Find your wings and take flight Then you will be able to indite And sing through the skys like a meteorite

Indite: The verb indite, rarely used today, means "compose" or "put down in writing,"
Walk across the marshes View from the distance into the streets of London The downtrodden man, contrite and solemn, with weathered shoes and a weathered soul Walk in his shoes, View through his eyes into the streets of desperation The downtrodden man, worn and hungry, with no bread to eat and no cent to his name Walk beside him, View of his world, into the street of questions The downtrodden man, simple and depraved, with not an answer and no life to live Walk to his grave, View of his stone into the streets of nothing The downtrodden man, asleep and alone, with no one to care and no one to see

Promise (10W)
I should have kissed you longer Kissed you harder We should have lingered From here to yonder Like there’s no tomorrow, And that night was our forever
