Blue and green
Brown and green
So many different combinations
Yet so little difference
She is still caring, loving, and protective
Why did I become so blessed as to be able to know her?
Why am I the one she trusts more than anyone?
Why was I the one to fall the hardest for her?
It was her eyes
Those eyes
Those ****** eyes
They are the eyes of a shattered lover,
trying to rebuild themselves.

I remember all those terribly awkward years
In a time capsule that dropped me right here.
I'd stay up with an unplugged microphone
Singing some songs about being alone
Writing so many poems of being unknown
How everyone looked so perfect,
They had a plan that seemed perfect,
They weren't like me, they weren't like you.
Masks of perfection that made me feel less than you
Questioning all of the life we've been through
I had a combination to a lock I still know
Even if it's to a door, now unknown
Down the hall you can find me, number 345
studying chapters in books on how to feel alive
Then graduate, jumping off that high dive
And we splash, knowing nothing
Praying we don't drown
Sick from the vertigo of a planet spinning us around.
Everyone looked so perfect,
They had a plan that seemed perfect
Just like me, just like you
With a mask having each the other fooled
Questioning how they made it through
I'm so perfect.
You're so perfect too.
My plan is, I haven't got a clue.

It's the big cities that fascinate me
But then ruins are the sights to see
The dark lit corners
With broken shards of mourners
Loud car horns
Who bite at your feet with thorns
Bursting with their party voices
Made of rich history and choices
Small talk on the engines
Stories poking you like pins
Of running traffic lights
With power at the peak of heights
Something like a aurora borealis
They speak of this
A city of lights and wonders
Shaking from the roar of thunder
Twinkling like stars on the ground
The whispers can be heard from the ashes that lay around.

A moment in time will come when everything will fall in it’s place, everything getting worked out.
Something was thought of,
upon which something was planned.
Keeping in mind to achieve the same,
a moment in time passed by when desire made it's way into the mindset.
Unpredictable are the ways of life in a life that at times seems to be strange,
but it’s life,
since life continues on it’s own like before.
Life continues with a combination of what was thought and planned against all that is going on in the mind
Accept the truth and fact of life, definitely life will then become easy
As simple as it seems to be what seems to be simple is not that simple
Never has it been so simple to accept the fact that a mistake has happened in life.
In one way or the other,
in whatever possible way,
always there are ways to avoid mistakes in life and in order to do so also presence of mind is needed.
Subconscious mind needs to be aware of the fact that something similar has happened before
Be prepared for the fact that a mistake on similar grounds has happened before
Once the subconscious mind indicates that something is going to go wrong,
probably then it’s time to take the next step slowly, but surely.
An intuition of mind can come into effect only when properly guided and supported by experience from prior
When the right moment of time is striked upon,
time now is to take the next step,
perhaps previous experience proves to be useful in deciding how to move ahead.
Efforts get their due value and importance when experience guides and supports the efforts that have been made from time to time
It’s important to know all that is going on in the outside world and also all that is being going on inside the mind of an individual.
Along with practice comes experience and along with experience comes the ability to foresee the future
At this junction it’s important to decide and keep in mind that every step taken from now onwards towards the future is taken in the right direction with utmost care
Possibly all the mistakes that might happen from now onwards are new ones,
once decided,
then this will definitely enrich the experience to built a future according to what was thought and planned before.
Till this moment in time comes it’s time to make sure that efforts are been made to get the desired results.

I never understood the combination
Of love and hate
Until I encountered your heart.
I had no reason to believe
That you would never leave
But I imagined forever anyway.
I was always taught
To take good care of my feet
Because they are what keep me standing,
But they never said anything about knees
And mine are filthy.

Your body is a blank canvas
That needs to be marked with my impression
To reconstruct your pure, red composition
And develop a purple as our colors clash; your red to my blue.
To encroach your sunshine with my ocean; my blue to your yellow
As we say goodbye to our colors, and say hello to this green that is mellow.
To bring my fire to your dandelion, and create a clockwork orange
I want to mark you with my dark paint, but only faintly, for I don’t want to taint thee
You brought your white to my black but strangely we did not end up grey.
We made each other brighter and this hue we shall stay.
