stargazing with cinderella
Some little drops of water Whose home was at sea To go upon a journey They once happened to agree A white cloud was their carriage Their horse, a playful breeze And over town and country They rode along at ease But the cloud held too many And began to grow heavy The little drops of water started to fall And the cloud looked on with appal The water fell to their dismay Was this how they end their day? ~19/3/21

Little drops of water
two centres of you: they pulled me like cats. they pulled me like carriages. the roads were muddy: worn and muddy. the sky was grey; the world was ready to rain.

(cats and carriages
I sit here and ponder As I let my mind wander To the girl that makes my heart race Who shows me her every grace The one who has stolen the show Erased the others who I did know It’s not her beauty that leads the way But what’s inside that shines every day She can make my heart sing Even when I am not listening The smile that can light up a room All the while holding a broom Amidst these thoughts that stir Another Valentine’s is here for sure How to make this one special I plead Ideas from a magazine I ought to read Then my mind begins to click What a great idea to woe this chick So a call on the phone is made Hope on a sunny day they have a shade A knock on the door brings my dear near Hope I’m right I fear For the horse drawn carriage awaits To take us on this very important date To a place where we can dine And her smile will shine When I drop down on one knee For a future for you and me Andreas Simic©

A Valentine's Day
Waiting is not my vocation Patience then not my forte I could say I've been standing in the rain forever But the Sun always shines in LA I hear there's an LA Woman Maybe here is where She again will appear The clouds blew through for just a few seconds But here in LA all the skies are bright blue sunny and clear They say She lives by the ocean She walks barefoot in the sand by the sea Behind Her ear there's a flower All then take notice of She Her whispers barely but silent resound throughout all conscious thought Her aura is of love and passion hoping and never to be lost There is an LA Woman The wind makes a carriage for Her grace She smiles as if by Her magic the moments of Her movements are blessed I will wait a little bit longer An hour or maybe much more Where minutes cascade into later Until again Her beauty is once more revealed Waiting is not my vocation Patience then not my forte I could say I've been waiting in the rain forever But everyone knows the Sun always shines in LA. -R. The magical carriage
Kiss Me, Oh won't you kiss me one last time, Before the night time fades away, And all the stars, turn to grey, Before the clock hand hits midnight, Before the first rays of sunlight, Wash away, the magic of moonlight, So kiss me, before your pumpkin carriage turns to dust, And buries our memories in golden rust.
