#carnivore
Roy Horn always favored big cats.
He put them in all of his acts.
But then Manticore,
who thought Roy was a bore,
said “Enough” and then Roy was just snacks.

Drain the venom with your pen
write it out,
until it wraps around you.
Stem the bloodflow
use it as a tourniquet
spit out the poison onto paper.
This world was made to devour
unhinging its jaw,
seeking to binge on us.
Do not be afraid
be forewarned;
take off the head of the hydra
and be resolved to continue with the cause.

One two three hundred of Iceland's sailors.
Leaning on the finance from our big servant
Departure had little fan-fare
But what did they care
A summer’s Blinding heat
A ship loaded packed with wheat
As Night’s grasp grew.
Our maps battery did too.
Leaving tonight.
I kissed my wife.
Across the sky ten times.
The sun blazed our horizon’s on the same side.
Food getting lighter, our bellies yearning for dinner
Mutiny, mutiny, mutiny.
I wasn’t going to differ.
Two days later. Our top man, who saved the evenings with good chatter.
Gave our crew the word.
Land ** you ***** rappers.
Looking across the sea, putting our withering hands above our knees.
My eyes glistened, had we come to Griffen.
Our final steps, until our land, was pushing forward and backward.
Onboard the land, our sea legs, outstretched our hands.
Aliens, and sailors, leaving together.
What are they saying
New food to chew.
Gave the crew a push to rearrange our mast
Setting sail back to our past.
The cheers were loud, and we are all proud.
As each one of us was the sailor that lead a mutiny crowd.

Look at you all,
You’re all so small,
Just specks on a spinning ball.
You feel like you are nothing,
Nothing at all!
Your unconscious strives for power,
It’s brought you down to a new low.
Down here we are all monsters,
No different from the animal.
We devour one another,
Just to stay alive a little longer.
Are you afraid you will remember?
You’re not who you claim you are,
You’re something sinister,
You’re a carnivore.
A carnivore needs to feed,
You don’t get a pulse until,
Someone else’s blood is flowing.
You get a high,
When people die,
You don’t get a pulse until,
Someone else’s blood is flowing through you!
You are afraid of what is closest to you,
Shying away from mirror.
Are you afraid you might recognize yourself?
You’re not innocent.
I’m not innocent.
We’re not innocent.
Do not lie to yourself, no one is innocent.
Your persistent desire to reveal the angelic nature of a human,
Brings you substance that adds up to nothing.
Don’t try to convince yourself of who you are,
You are a monster,
A carnivore,
No different from the animal!
There is evil beneath everyone’s skin,
It is so close to freedom!

There it is again,
That old sting.
No drugs, no needles,
Something else going in.
Creeping up on me,
Like lichen up a tree.
Spreading like frost,
Over a bedroom window.
The pain comes fast,
And the death comes slow.
I feel no pulse until,
There is someone else’s blood flowing through.
I wish to deceive you,
I wish to devour you.
I only want you,
To see how long I can bleed you.
I wait until you let me in,
Then I take everything.
I will then abandon you,
Leaving you with nothing.
We’re all dying from an internal fire.
We all feed on one another.
Carnivorously, I consume others to stay alive.
Life feeds on life, this is how we survive.
I stared too far into the abyss,
I dived too deep into it’s depths.
I lost myself to what I found inside,
And it made its home in my mind.
Drop down a ******
For me to climb into.
Open up my old womb,
And breathe life into the new.
I perish your human sacrifice,
Hoping to relinquish me of this carnivore.
Is it enough to suffice!?
I want to be separate from this animal.

You don’t get a pulse until,
There is someone else’s blood flowing through your heart.
Leeching off the energy of another,
So you can go on a little longer!
Systematically remove them all,
These thieving telepathic vampires!
Draining me of everything,
Leaving me with nothing.
You have come to reap the benefits that I sowed,
Taken what you wanted? Good! Now ******* go!
You drain me,
Of all my energy.
You are engaged in something that will bring you no satisfaction.
You will always be hungry, in search of your next meal.
Just so you can get a quick moment of what it is like to feel.
You are a ******* carnivore,
A predator in the tall grass looming in on its next victim.
They are nothing to you,
Just something you can sink your teeth into!

Have you forgotten so easily?
About the creature that waits patiently.
Waiting for the opportunity,
To break free.
You hide from it under the covers of your bed,
Where the light of your thoughts barely tread.
You can try and run,
And you can try and hide.
But it will always be there,
Crawling in the darkest corners of your animalistic mind.
You shelter yourself in your awaking slumber,
Hiding from who you truly are.
You can try and outrun yourself,
You won't get very far.
You suppress the real you,
And put on the fake you.
You tranquilize it so it stays silent,
Pushing it to grow more violent.
You are a carnivore,
No different from the animal.
We are the evil beneath your skin,
We are so close to freedom!

I am descending down a hole,
That I have been down too many times before.
This time when I dive in,
I may not be coming back up again.
I stared too far into the abyss,
I dived too deep into it’s depths.
Lost myself to what I found within,
And it made it’s home beneath my skin.
I feel an itch beneath the surface,
And I just got to gnaw at it.
Self-cannibalistic I’ve become,
I’m slowly eating myself away.
Carnivorously, I consume the flesh that nets around my bones,
Hoping that it satisfies the carnivore in me.
Who knew dying would taste so **** good today.
Every bite I take I am slowly eating myself away.
The only way I feel alive is by feeding what will **** me one day.
Soon my bones will be exposed,
But it won’t be satisfied.
I will break them open and devour the marrow inside.
Still it won’t be satisfied!
One day nothing will remain!
Then it will climb back down the hole,
Waiting for someone to pull it out.
It’s always hungry for more.

Skin is but a thin, thin leaf,
Flesh is meat, and meat is good,
Bone is hard, but bone is sweet,
Under that, who knows, who could?
Blood is sour, blood is blue,
Veins are stringy, tasty too,
Heart's a muscle, not the soul,
And I don't mind even lungs at all.
Nerves are tender, tender things,
Pluck them, and make for spicy meal,
Play them as they were guitar strings,
And see how gourmet that soup would feel.
Eyes, oh eyes, exquisite blue,
(Brown and green as well will do,)
Look if what they see is true,
Look before I eat them too.

I understand your taste for meat
But is your thirst for blood so cheap?
Your hunt so deep?
Your drop so steep?
So absent is your love for me?
You'd feast on your own family?

Feed from my soul
Drain me of all life
Take away my happiness
Take away my mind
Grow stronger from my pain
Grow happier from my misery
Show me your way
Show me your hate
Bring me to despair
Bring me to emptiness
Come digest me
Come destroy me
Make me hurt
Make me cry
Sink your teeth into my flesh
Sink your claws into my throat

I've had mountain oyster, and pigs feet, in stew
tasted chocolate bugs, and was that cheese, or glue?
I may have had cat, and dog, in a Mexican venue
frog legs, goat and snake, just to name a few
If it walks or crawls, or makes a nest or den
you can rest assured, it's only where, and when
God made animals of meat, as is every single hen
captured, cleaned, BBQ'd, eaten by women, children, men
Omnivores, world's best, eating every way, and thing
food up in the larder, of bread and wine, to sing
don't have to tell me what it is, if it has legs, or wings
just put it on the table, tasting all, that nature brings
