They say I’m mad at the world Go figure right The biggest stereotype there is An Angry Black Man But maybe this is true Maybe I am Maybe I’m mad at the world For how I’m treated Inequalities I deal with every day Or how I get looked down upon like I’m a crumb on the dirtiest of grounds Like I’m a peasant: a beastly creature A killer that was never pushed Just one more **** they won’t have to arrest soon Because they believe in executions! Death by firing squad! So maybe I am angry Furious Shouldn’t I have the right to express myself? Express my opinions on this jaded society! But then again, they say it's not a societal norm   So I rebuttal, **** normality They say shut up and dribble! They say you’re canceled They say you can’t feel this way But why can’t I feel this way? How Sway? I mean isn’t this a “FREE COUNTRY”? Don’t I have “First Amendment rights”? Doesn’t the “Constitution apply to me”? Can I be free? They say I’m going to end up either dead or in jail But why can’t I be a lawyer? And maybe go to Yale As I yell and get on my knees Crying out in pain and agony Saying please Lord help me Protect me Lord, give me wisdom So, I can have a strong mind To get through these hard times Exhausted and Traumatized I pause And close my eyes

Angry Black Man
he said I don’t care who’s with me and who ain’t I don’t have to Persuade Anyone to see my worth Because with or without them I’m already great He possesses a confidence That has my attention Held captive It reminds me of a time When my momma yelled out to my father Hey black man As if the phrase it’s self Was a crown Her voice Boasting in power And Dripping with respect Perhaps tomorrow I’ll try to call you by your name I’ll walk up to you Fill my voice with sunshine And say Hey black man I see your Greatness And I honor you for it I’ll crown you with my words And adorn you with A cloak of honor And you will smile Because you know who you are I see you king This is the start of something Kind of beautiful

Hey Black Man
Since birth you've had a target on your back  created by wicked people envious of the crown God ordained specifically for you  The evils of world have always tried to ****** it from you destroy your legacy **** your image They created a malicious plan to make you seem worthless to everybody espically your own because if your own community doesn't see you worth the vicious cycle of destruction doesn't end In spite of it all I still see you for who God made you to be I vow to love you to life because you've recieved enough death threats.

Drip drip drip goes the tap screaming fills the room a rush of feet the dripping continues join us join us echo the ghosts of my grandmother’s past Drip drip drip It just won’t stop Just as suddenly as it began Screaming fades abruptly entering softly my hairs stand on end haunting my dreams for the rest of my nights Drip drip drip there she lies hair white mouth wide a terrified look frozen in her eyes eternally indelible is the sound of the tap going Drip Drip drip

Drip Drip Drip
And so the plot thickens, negros getting plucked like the feathers off chickens. It's open season and while the hurt is grieving the earth is washed with rivers of blood that sinks in. But they got blinders on as if this **** ain't really going on; not phased at all as strong black men raise their hands only to fall. By the wayside...they lie lifeless while the people shout for Justice, but their voices fall upon death ears. Fatherless children growing up in fear, turning tender heart's so cold; she calls 'em super predators as if her feet could ever fit in their shoes; she'll never fathom their souls. It's gotta be the spirit inside mankind, cuz human beings don't act this way. It's just what I see through my own two eyes; dead bodies getting hash tagged everyday. It's just another cold day in babylon, I know it's hard to stay high when they trying to keep us low. As we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we can hear the screams from ghosts. Judgement will come one day, though it may be hard to see it through those watery eyes. In the end nobody will ever get away with taking an innocent life.
