Partridge red, how fine you fly; Winging, gliding up on high. We down below as you sweep by, Esteem the rapture to our eye. Partridge red, how deft you try To fill the heavens with your cry; As you ride so fleet and spry When for your covey fore you vie. Partridge red, alert yet shy I call and wait for your reply. Alas, I close my eyes and sigh As someone shoots you from the sky.                                        ASJ

The Partridge And The Cartridge
If I am a bird Carelessly flies in the sky Place to place Tweet the world is mine Go wherever I want Chrip whatever I feel Sit whenever I'll be tired Never look my face in mirror But I can see this world more clearer Searching for a partner would be easy No regret of being messy Anywhere I built my nest Like I have no regret Little fights then My short time memory wipes all away No one let me down if my house is made of clay And in peace i die one day

Desire
Beneath the sun I always roam A happy lark – o so free! The spacious sky my native home – My comfy perch up a tree! Every morning wake up with me, To greet the bright morning dew! Take a light stroll across the lea, Hear my chirpy song to you! The wild cold wind does call to me – Its many arms me enfold… The blue sky offers liberty, Of more worth than shining gold!
