When Love arrives, Don't be hesitant about it, Don't be dumb towards it. Improvise to be expressive, Improvise your poems & verses, Be romantic and passionate too. Learn to be flirtatious & elegant, Learn to be welcoming & courteous, Be adventurous and spontaneous. Receive love with all its grandeur, Reflect it with twice the splendour, Witness the magic of love.

When Love Arrives
Our dearest love has fallen The night arrives the same Shocked and feeling solemn For when darkness reclaims It's an unpleasant surprise Daily grave planet digs Towards ground in varying size Again Pebbles and twigs Disturbed a deeper level Dashing beside fear Black eyes of the devil Secrets and lies appear At dawn grief will linger Faded heat of the sun Greater the poison from the stinger Shine is at point forced to run Weighed down by loss I am feeling Our frame anchored to the ground Burden remains leaving us reeling Within in blackness does astound With sharp blow takes the victory In daylight look for shame In moon hide what we're scared to see Have only sadness in us to blame

Night Arrives The Same
though we're in theses darkest days let's not lose the morrow's light   when it arrives we will see a bright horizon

I know we have problems And I know we are scared to say Everything we see before us In a state of disarray When people ask if we are together Tell them that we're not Wake up every morning sad My stomach in a knot Sky heavy on shoulders Cloudy or sunny and bright Hope that we could be happy Living a dream that's not quite right Do you love imperfections? Do you pretend they are not there? Say that is what makes me special Question if you're really aware I get chills of fear imagining Future without your embrace Are you going to be the same in five years? Will souls still interlace? Insecurity blows my brain up Skull expands, it bursts When you've done nothing wrong Still endure my worst You do not deserve it when I explode Hit by shrapnel, hurtful remarks Justify my careless words by bringing up Past indiscretions and own defined marks The infinite acts of betrayal Your indifferent selfish attitude The reasons I lash out in anger Often say things that are rude I do not mean to hurt your feelings I attempt to communicate Thoughts softly falling in my head Failing as they accumulate It seems issues are too big Too powerful and great to solve Yet we keep waiting with the foolish belief One day they will all dissolve But until that time arrives I will continue this back and forth game We make mistakes. Forgive. Repeat. Both of us are equally to blame

A State Of Disarray
Dear Love, I know what you look like: You are flowers pressed between the pages of my poetry books. You are the pink and purple watercolors in the sky as the sun settles on the horizon. You look like the outside of an airplane window on my adventures. I know what you sound like: You are the bees hum around the hydrangeas. You are the playlist that is mixed with our favorite songs. You are the mumbled, "I'm almost ready!" from the bathroom while you're brushing your teeth when we are already 10 minutes late. I know what you feel like: You are dances in the warm summer rain, while we get soaked to our bones. You are the blanket my grandmother crocheted that keeps me warm. You are the fingers that run through my hair on late night drives. I know what you smell like: You are the sweet aroma of summer picnics in the woods. You are sunny drives with the dog's face flapping outside of the window. You are coconut oil that has permanently stained my skin. You are the "Hypnotic Poison" perfume by Dior on our wedding day. I know what you taste like: You are the honey strands that flow from her mind and get caught under my tongue. You taste like lavender ice cream, oversized chairs and long conversations. You are an omelette with all of the extras so I have enough energy to fight my demons for the day. You taste like home made chili on a winter day that was made to keep me warm. I am familiar with you, Love. I have seen you before in my wildest dreams, but I was not ready for the weight of it all. Not quite yet. Give me time to show myself that I am deserving of you. Please, Love. Take my heart, cover it in bubble wrap and place it in a time capsule. I promise to only open it when you know I'm ready. Sincerely, All of my heart

As soon as Anything arrives – Like mist at dawn – It flees and flies…           Some say, “Look,           He’s so alive!”           But, I say, “Look,           He slowly dies!” As soon as Anything arrives – Like mist at dawn – It flees and flies…           To whom will           Work and toil call?           All men who stand           Are sure to fall. As soon as Anything arrives – Like mist at dawn – It flees and flies…           If all comes from,           And goes to, “Naught,” –           Then what of those           “Good” things we sought? As soon as Anything arrives – Like mist at dawn – It flees and flies…           There must be More!           There must be Life!           Because, if not,           It’s only strife… As soon as Anything arrives – Like mist at dawn – It flees and flies… .

As Soon as Anything Arrives...
Someone arrives, To find, That the time flipped on its knees looks at the date, time, year And is surprised. I’ve been waiting for you, my time traveller A moment, where everything in universe had their eyes on you, and was excepting you to arrive with a smile.
