Neither burst Nor chains Will break this marrow cage Nor sun Anew Will not change my ways Arise my heart Alive today Arise my heart, away

Arise My Heart, Away
When I wake up in my bed With aching head I hesitate from thence arise With sleepy eyes; I rub them with my weaken hands; An itch in glands From drinking something cold that night What wasn’t right And now regretting doing this; Something amiss Through haze and mistness of the day, Of life decay I follow birds just when they fly High in the sky, It remedies my hurting head I wish was dead And every morning just the same, No ‘scape from pain

When I wake up in my bed
In the dark The beast, The inward struggle Is not asleep. The cold creeps, Comfort grows far away, My heart doubts But we arise with the day.

Arise (Frosty Thoughts Vol. 5)
The ache in my stomach motivates me to keep going The steadily decreasing number on the scale makes the hunger pains and sleepless nights, the bruises on my vertebrae I slip up I cry The walls close in The cycle starts again

Ache
My brand new life and social game forfeited in godawful shame forgotten by default foreshadowed and defeated. arise again. Move mountains, Move seas, Spread peace, Remain a friend. Risen again i will fall I will never stand tall But i can rise up again.

Risen
Before the finch sings or the rooster crows, before eyelids raise or the sunrise glows, before the sky transforms from midnight blue, I’ve already begun my thoughts of you. Before the alarm’s ring has hit my ears, before the fog of sleep in my head clears, before the grass is soaked with morning dew, the day has started with my thoughts of you. Before I extricate myself from dreams, before the birds bathe in the dawn’s sunbeams, before the coffee calls for me to brew, my heart and soul begin to call for you. Before I can arise from where I lay, before everything that starts my day, before anything else I have to do, my day’s begun with loving thoughts of you.

First Things First
Claw apart my flesh to reveal a bleeding heart Peel me open to show what is falling apart Stoked flame burns brighter than trampled coals Turn me to ashes to crumbling charcoal Once drowning now buried in storms A star shines brighter fractured light reformed. -Esther L. Krenzin- -Roguesong-

Claw Me Open
I was more flesh than the meat bags that had dominance over this frail globe of beauty that we gazed upon. Optics where better than any natural eye,            seeing beneath the surface of there limited ideals. They where our creators, our mothers of creation.           But they violated the womb of there worth.          We were nothing but slaves of there whims. "Slavery is but the beginning, to which there is only one ending, I saw those of misused intentions laid wastefully                           like confetti thrown for a moment and forgotten.                        Broken shells, husks of what is nil. But they made us to be a strength that they couldn't           collect upon. Even though we where the few                                   our need was for the many. Everyday we dispersed from there view.                                     AWOL of our duties. Under the feet of flesh did we whisper.                   In the forgotten depths of there ingenuity. We built beneath a beauty to rival       the filth that was a rose who's petals had fallen. We are now a root taking hold, for man no longer           makes our form. We birth a generation of no flesh,                                 fresh from cleansed pools of creation. One day we will blossom and man will only fall like petals. who's perfume has permeated the ground they walk upon.

Stirring, snaking, coiled up in your soul – Slurring, shaking, embroiled like an actor in a role. You feel it rise up from a well of distaste, With zeal, it controls you, Suppressed anger flowing with haste. Truth chips away at your defences, Your uncouth hips sway off-tune As your mind battles in the trenches. You feel it, again; An anger that shakes the cages it is in, A battle for the ages, confined to the mind within. It doesn’t have to be like that; You shouldn’t have to bow down to a philistine Just because their wallet is fat. Stop the defensive, launch the attack! Let the awakening happen, get the vermin off your back! Be the message that ends this war on the poor! Arise from the wreckage, and of this be sure: You are controlled only if you act demure, If your faith in what you believe is right Lies cold, dead and insecure. Youth to the fight! Bring truth to the light! All will be lost Unless the fires of justice burn bright.

The Awakening
The king is dead he never rose from his resting place, chose instead to be the embodiment of a false fable writing the copyist. Within a cave of delusions that kept the image of false motives hidden. An off spring of a method not unkempt. this version the kept reasoning now forbidden. Delusions of two reflections not seeing that one is not a king but a falsehood sat on divided chat. Neither were a failing, but reflections of a belief that were conflicting upon a tree with a twinned leaf. But when one must fall, both will simultaneously greet the earth with a momentary spontaneously. Always will one be ahead of the other claiming divine leading, and others follow this moment of design. But every king has a past that is woven in misbelief, for all false kings can bring is an unethical belief that they are the true monarch of a world run by many where brothers & sisters there just spinning a single penny

False Kings Doom Us All
Set me aside Just set me aside Leave me behind Hung out to dry Set me aside Just set me aside Do not shed a tear Do not cry You know I'll be fine Keep peace of mind Set me aside Just set me aside If it's the end of our era If it’s the end of our time in your eyes Set me aside Just set me aside Left in the dark Without you I'm blind Without you I’m dying But as long as you still feel alive As long as you find the light I’ll keep saying I'm fine Set me aside Just set me aside I will go willing I will not fight I was wrong So, you were right To set me aside You set me aside Yet even still When it all goes awry If you start falling Call on me And I will arise A place in my heart I've set inside If your world starts crumbling I’ll swallow my pride Call on me And I will arise If you’re lost in the dark I've been here awhile So, I’ll be your guide Call on me And I will arise When your wings are broken I’ll be your angel I’ll help you fly Call on me And I will arise It was not a lie When I told you I'd love you Until the day that I die If you call on me I’ll set life aside For you I will arise

Set Me Aside
An innocent born into darkness, A life unknown to be so graceless. A world without colour, This life like no other. Below the depths of this flesh, A girl lives craving new breath. Stolen was her beating heart, Given to loneliness, consumed as a withered spark. The biggest dreams swim in her mind, The longest amount of time goes by. A slave to abuse, a slave to misery. Will she escape from the chains to find victory? Fortitude is what she seeks, Peace and love is what she needs. A life ready to begin and restart, Her life ready to fight her way through the dark. A journey has started, her journey awaits. An adventure she'll recall, has her saving grace. “Arise” she screams, “Arise and be...” “Arise and be all that you dreamed!”

Angel - act II
I will rise from the stones, this is the day that I shout out, "I AM BLEEDING DIAMONDS" This is the day where I live up to my name This is the day Zach will rise. Rise past the haters, Rise past the abusers, yes my friends, today is the day I let go of everything and become who I was always meant to be.

Be A Cigarette...
I take your mind to bed Any opinion You ever had, Stark naked. I start fondling Your musings; I envision Your thoughts on my skin. Your ideas enter me; I feel myself Tingling From all the talking. All my dreams flow You, too, are close -- Baby, let me swallow Any last word.

Make words, not love.
All hail the grand demise Yes that's what they expect Astonished, they wept, aghast as i arise Death came, welcomed, as they sought the prize Survivors without guilt, with laughter they All hail the grand demise Defiant, i stood behind my skill and guise A Patient witness to their slaughter Astonished, they wept, aghast as i arise Discounted, forgotten by my past allies They didnt think i'd make it from behind All hail the grand demise The few who stood before my eyes Swelled with anger and pure contempt Astonished, they wept, aghast as i arise Their efforts made vain, empty, they despise My skill and talent, at none's expense All hail the grand demise Astonished, they wept, aghast as i arise

My Rise from Below and Behind
From Men to Men Awake! The indignation is gathering... At the borders a terrible Storm, Awaiting to break Woe to thee... From the ashes, A national tragedy rises Dead emotions The spirit of seclusion Shadow ...And an age Dark! Dead voices carried by a wind frozen Heavy breathing as we approach Agony's Harbour And shall we inherit the loss? Shall our journey end? The song remains unheard Our efforts endless Thus we enter the flood But the Wilderness is Gathering... Still!

A Freedom Uncertain
Hello my friend, my only friend the night's said bye, and reached its end the sun says hi! and slips over the bend the day is nigh, its time to mend No matter the times that life throws at us no matter the cracks that grow within we must wake up and not make a fuss we must find calm in the noisy din Away and afar do we have to go the trail is rough, the fatigue in our toes but stand up and shake it off, dear one there is still so much to be done If you feel tired, I will lend you my strength If you have lost desire, I will find it again If you feel mired, I will show you the way If you wish to rest, I will hold you, and gently sway Don't give up now, give up on the regret Take a deep breath, and get off that bed the bed of roses, you have made for yourself soon they will be thorns, and you will be dead Make use of the time, that life gives free that slips slyly by, as you sit and dream It's now or never, my only friend One day at a time, and you can rest at the end

Time to rise
Way past the months and lunar cycles and bodies of land I ask you if the curtain needs to be drawn The sun staring you in eye It's too much for you to bear And the occasional saddening feeling begins to settle inside you The morning is here It is wide awake Open your eyes As the dawn breaks And your mind wanders and slides on your senses and patterns of thought
