Outside of what becomes of me, the flowers remain tender in the storm. Magic cascades, blooming silent trajectories. From under her breath she says she can’t do it anymore. A world dies with every decision — many worlds — but to only mourn what was left out is to miss the note. And if you miss enough of those you miss the music. And if you miss the music, well— God help you when you hear the silence. Look, all I’m saying is, she’s already gone and it’s going to take reality a minute to catch up. Sixty seconds, that’s all you need to forget the plot. navigating protocol instincts… discovering internal networks… engage over[drive] ?…?…? execute.clr\\edu*.do.00m ? y or n … y.

(This is not scary, short fiction and probably not fit for click-farming.) Sometimes I’m serious, a girl can be serious. I have to write a lot of analysis papers in school (yeah, some people still waste their time and money like that). I’m leveraging that effort here. This is part* of an academic paper I’m writing on the world economy in crisis (this part covers world inflation and China/Taiwan). It’s a draft in progress and, in the spirit of brevity (my target ~1000 words) and avoiding the verbose, I’ve simplified the narratives and removed graphs, diagrams and footnotes. Here we go: Have you noticed that the world seems less stable and that your spending power has eroded since 2009 and especially since covid? You aren’t wrong. The Fed balance sheet had never been over a trillion dollars before 2009. However, from 2009 (the banking collapse) to 2022 (COVID) the Fed moved our balance sheet from sub-1 trillion to 9 trillion - pushing about 50% dollar inflation on the world. We ourselves experienced 8% inflation. Everything in the world is priced in dollars. If you look at cross-world currency settlements, you might think, ‘well, there's the dollar and the euro, the pound, the dirham and all these other currencies’ but there’s really not. There's only the dollar and the other currencies back-solve for how they pay for things in their own countries. That's the way the world works. So when we push 50% inflation (in dollar terms) to the world it affects everyone. Marginal currencies on the bottom of the financial structure collapsed. That would be Turkey, Iran (Iran controls Iraq now), Pakistan, Lebanon, and many many other currencies throughout the third world that hyper-inflated (became worthless). So when people say, “can we all just all calm down and go back to business as usual?” There is no easy way to go back to 2% world growth and stability. Inflation is an insidious, destabilizing force. Even China’s economy is in deep, deep trouble - they’re in the midst of a real estate crisis, a banking crisis, a youth unemployment crisis, a trade surplus decline (because of their threat to invade Taiwan), a debt to GDP crisis (much worse than ours) and now, Trump is threatening tariffs that could bring their net income to zero. China has said many many times - too many times to doubt it - that they will attack and absorb Taiwan by 2027 - period. Why would they do that? Aren’t our economies too linked? Knowing we will have to retaliate? We don't know what President XI Jinping’s calculus is. The CCP doesn't see the world the same way we do and, like Putin, we may not be dealing with someone rational. It’s like when Putin moved his blood banks, tankers, air force and army to the edge of Ukraine - some said it was just ‘saber rattling.’ No, when the blood banks and tankers are moved - you’re a ‘GO’ - it’s just a matter of time. Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister now vilified for appeasing ****** wasn’t an idiot. He could not get his head around why ****** would plunge the world into war. They had lived through WWI and where was the profit in it - what reasonable reason was there for a world war in 1938? Let’s not make that mistake. Let’s take a moment and think it through. Why is China obsessed with unifying with Taiwan? (1) History, the Chinese, who lost the revolution that brought the CCP to power fled to Taiwan (2) The democratic government in Taiwan is four times as successful as communist counterpart. Their GDP is higher, their worker productivity is four times higher, they enjoy a higher standard of living, (3) they are a success story that demonstrates what China could be if it weren't hamstrung with the communist party. (4) they want to deny us the tech, (5) Their culture and world view is different. In China there are no human rights and no truly private property. There is only what’s good for (Chinese Communist Party) CCP power - the CCP is everything. Why protect Taiwan? Taiwan Semi is the chip manufacturer for the world. They are the only maker of 2mn chips - the most vital, powerful component for the AI and quantum computing races. The country that wins those races will control information for the next century. The loss of that capacity is an absolute, existential threat to the security of the United States. The fact that the US failed to keep current in this area is a major screw-up decades in the making. Messages of deterrence are flying. One reason we bombed Iran - where we had to drop munitions, with precision down three tiny shafts, covered by a mountain, from whatever heights - and we did it - was a message of deterrence partially aimed at China. Proof that America still has the best and most lethal military in the world - and we aren't afraid to use it. The US admiral who commands our indo-pacific forces recently said - publicly - that “if China thinks they're going to either blockade or engage in some kinetic conflict with Taiwan, we will turn the Taiwan strait into a hellscape.” Even a limited naval engagement with China, in the Taiwan strait, could cost thousands of American casualties (think Korean War people). What kind of leverage does China have VS the us? Recently: China has stopped supplying the US with rare earth magnets - those are critical to making EV vehicles run. China is denying America processed synthetic graphite - a critical component in every single EV battery. China is withholding the lasers used in fiber-optic communications from the US (they are the single world manufacturer). Those are single points of failure for US technologies and we must ‘Manhattan Project’ our capacity for their replacement. Why did the Trump administration remove subsidies for EV vehicles? First, it plays to his base but secondly, removing the subsidies slows demand until we can fill those gaps ourselves. Part of the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ earmarks billions to start addressing the failure points mentioned above. What non-military leverage do we have VS the Chinese? We hold the upper hand. China imports 13 million barrels of oil every day, 9 Bs of natural gas every day, 40% of their food every single day.and they need access to the American dollar system to acquire those goods. They are a closed capital account - no one will accept Yuan as payment. That is a single point of failure for them. Conclusions: We should let the CCP know - make it very clear - that if they attack Taiwan, the first thing we’ll do is take them out of the dollar system. Pushing that button would be easy - but it will hurt us too in the short run. It may be a better deterrent than those US carrier strike forces - which are still an option if it comes to that. . . The unknown it analyses, The truth that is confined. Black box of mystery’s, Tools to set and find. Axiom to choose, Hold what not to loose. Axiom of premise, Domain of voice. Infinity in what’s empty, A category of noise. The mystery to seek, Is not all so bleak. The joy to find what’s in the dark, Can cast an unknowable spark.

Let There Be Light!
Divide and conquer, deride compassion. Indulgent resentment exposes the actions. Wolves dressed as lambs, lambs as wolves. Nobody believes in good ideas. Craft deceptive reasons behind the words of love. Stuff your victims into the dark, cramped box. Do your work quietly, with discipline. When the red moon rises the energy of broken breaths strengthens your existence. Illusory peace as a weary sigh. You laugh when they try to unmask your behavior Whispering: just another pathetic attempt of hysterical souls, not pragmatic solutions. Different actors, new stages. You’re always the same, Irresistible.

Attempt at Analysis
It's really easy to write Like you're for the hardline right And far-flung conspiracies. Easy to address as a member of the left Like you believe in extreme liberalism And wild ideas. And then there's a center, Or so I've heard. For the intellectual or versus, For the institution or against; For the fascist, For the anarchic. It's all so archaic.

In Inceptions & On Fringes
The third eye, Is a bird’s eye, View on a hurt guy, Within a dirt life. Since first flight, Cut with a big knife, By Dad and his wife, Who gave me life. What hurt Dad? Who hurt Dad’s wife? So much strife, In this foul scented life. Bitterness so rife, In these brown eyes, Since all that I, Know is to, Trust that third eye.

as the rest move in a herd in time, fixed and onward some remain at a pace of their own slower, wallowing in crevices, an act of conscious apartheid familiar with the shortage of influence, that is, separation. wandering by will vicariously living through a phobia of confusion hence why lost souls remain lost fear of false direction, fear of decision uncertainty amongst hysteria a deadly duo for the few settlement has become still and those lost are familiar with movement 2 steps forward, 12 steps scattered here and there and it's unclear up and down its all around the dance to delusion goes to no sound but illusion. distress within the body whose mind follows curiosity incessant pondering yields a detriment to the thinker, be about your quest and breed your farewell to the blissful life of ignorance that now follows you - is there a solace to be found for these creatures? has the point of no return passed? the distance behind is immeasurable for the path previously paved is dimly lit to decipher the single instance is a feat of all men does the lone wolf recall?

The hammer came down as thunder resounds bouncing around in my skull a paradigm shift like closing the rift the knife not sharp waxing dull Passing the line all of the time burning deep in my heart what I once knew tried, and yes, true passing it all off as art Hell doesn't knock hard as a rock ripping my small world, apart no plea or recourse the unstoppable force an end that begins with a start

I'm way to complex for myself
Paralysis by analysis overthinking life and all its complexities... I think: Truth, what is it? When everyone feels as if they know and feel even **** in the name of this 'Truth' I ask why... What's the basis for that certainty Is it something born through analogy? I see that we are all mistaken, guilty Of that condescension! Pretensions Self-deception! The irony of this age of technological innovation is that it has become fancy to crave disinformation Truth is what we think we possess in this great idiocy of the masses.

The Enemy
Ms. Del Rey says “the world is made for two”, but her idea of two is some fresh hell; it’s seems that Lana thinks a girl’s abuse, is cinematic fodder one can sell. The other woman sings about her man. “sO pOPuLIiSt” with flowers on her head. While some may come from poor & tell the tale, Del Rey wears being poor like it’s a dress.  But voices that she channels in her songs, Bespeak a femme fatale alone, and they,   Are both no one, and everyone in one. The guardians of endless summer days.

She tied a black ribbon around my wrist Like a dark lake reflecting moonlight And in my enchantment, I missed The ribbon was tied far too tight She tied a black ribbon around my neck So cold on my skin like ice And in my fervor, I failed to see The ribbon was knotted up thrice She tied a black ribbon around my heart Winding its way through my veins She gave a tug, and I gave a start As her ribbon turned out to be chains

I am uncertain of my body, how strong it is, how little it appears that way having hurled itself into danger several times and coming out only with a few hand scars see its muscle see its fat, unneeded storage, look and don't touch, please. The soft thrumming of my heart in my throat shows how strong it is, sneaking its way up to where it shouldn't be see its battle scars see its healing wounds-- still festering, a little raw. look and don't touch, please. I've got a strong jaw and a chin with an irritated red galaxy on it, an odd contradiction between soft and hard-- see the constellation in my scarring, a rude connect the dots you shouldn't be playing, look and don't touch, please. I look out from hazel glass, flecked with hidden gold foil you see if you stare long enough, but staring would be rude-- see the one way mirror, so that you stare at you and not me, look and don't touch, please. My fingers are long and spindly, artist's hands, the webbing in between makes them seem smaller-- see the raised marks, see the wearing nailpolish, my hands are an artist's hands too. look and don't touch, please.

I've been thinking about you each day, maybe twice And how disfigured your world views can get And how I could help if I could go back with abilities to stop regrets I'd tell you not to worry but I know that's a lost cause Because back then you were trying to treat your feelings with rap gauze I'd tell you love yourself because you're the only one that matters Or maybe tell you how my brain works now, to see if you'd get sadder I know the world was built on shakey grounds of lots of stress But no one you know thinks like you son, That was your genesis I would tell you how you should see your dad But back then if anyone bad talked the family you'd get mad So maybe I can tell you why everyone is out to hurt you Or why you'll try to make your life close the ******* curtain. Maybe I can give you space to ****** grieve Over your aunts, uncles and friends that had to leave Maybe discourage your ambitions and untie the knot I know life's a surplus of vacant parking lots Where dreams, ambitions and desires start punching rocks Until they're morphed into creatures you refuse to acknowledge Until your final break down at the "Pittsburgh Rip off College" Maybe I could tell you to feel your pain Or lessen the impact of prescription drugs on that younger brain Maybe even make you into who you're meant to be But I fear that that answer maybe me I'd tell you to talk to mom, and open up Take up the vacant room she left you in that hut I'd help you sleep at night with soulful lullabies And put you to sleep with our own hurt pride Maybe if I could bleed the effects of the pre-condition You'd be intelligent and have some kind of ancient wisdom Lessons that stuck from two worlds apart But most of all, I'd tell you to take the sleeve from that bleeding heart There's no wound to nurse once you break the silence Because the only reason it still hurts is cuz you're keeping quiet You'll grow up to be a manipulator The kind of person you won't despise until much later The kind of person that uses people for mental exercise The person who isn't afraid to resort to lies. Sometimes I wonder if it would even make a difference Or if the timeline would adjust the route, Like a downhill liquid. I killed myself to make me view That life is how I see it, So now I look at you.

I see my friends in new relationships, in bliss I'm happy for them I'm also a bit bitter if I'm being honest And if I'm being honest I'm never really honest It's a protection plan of mine like the kind you get when you're at the checkout and the cashier who's on her second hour of overtime says that for thirty extras dollars all your broken parts can be fixed if you bring it back There was an asterisk next to the plan Terms and Conditions apply, please sign here so when you bring it back with a shattered screen they say they can't help you because you did it to yourself And I've done this thing to myself Over and over and over again Waiting for the time it works The right formula of time multiplied by distance divided by maturity But the solution I come up with always equals zero no matter what numbers I move around it stays the same I don't commit because I've committed too much before I don't walk on those egg shells anymore When I love there is an asterisk next to my heart Terms and Conditions apply, please sign here Don't get too close because you might see me without my mask And unmasked me is brutal and burnt out As frail as thin ice covering the pond of his regrets I've grown old groaning on about these things A cold king with a cold crown sitting on a cold throne alone And I don't want to be alone but I don't want to change This is normal for me and it feels safe even if it is killing me slowly Nobody has been through my shoes You can sympathize but don't ever say you can empathize You have not seen through my eyes or felt with my heart There are parts of me I lost with every step forward I took in absolute fearlessness and faith and it crippled me So don't act like I have those parts of me, still There are things I just cannot do anymore Like an amputee who can't feel his wife's hand in his anymore Like a paraplegic who can't run a marathon anymore' Like a young boy who spent his love in fullness and never got any back Please, just accept that this is who I am and I can't change that Because it's not in my nature anymore It just can't happen

Blood piercing my skin Salvation a damnation in my mind Quick like the scent of sin Horrors crucifix rewind Endlessly endless Folk hearts and celibace An age too unknown for hell The driver is there as well On a cross

Cross
The people in my class analyzed poetry With finely sharpened pencils And color coordinated pens. I don’t understand. I thought poetry spewed from within, Without care, Out of necessity, Out of the need to rip the bullet from One’s heart, Out of the need to Save oneself.

My Need
Poem Analysis 1st read, I thought gibberish, 2nd I thought Hmmm, 3rd I thought interesting, 4th I felt genius. billy your poem comment-dissects my poem my process, a marathon interview for a new poem pole position, limb by limb, word by word, chewed and re-chewed, like a tiring piece of bubble gum, the flavor remaining ebbs, but is not extinguished, and can live in your mouth, forever and the praise and this poem, not a rodomontade, for your comment dear Billy, is the process description of a poet’s labor, from word first to a baby’s birth, gibberish into genius emergent from first pain, then pushing, then tilled, at long last, the dirtiest immaculate conception beautiful billy reads my rambling, silly abstruse^ & wrote me: *1st read I thought gibberish, 2nd I thought Hmmm, 3rd I thought interesting, 4th I felt genius* this is a much loved critique for I well recall each step of creation, a summarizing parallel that your words+genes replicated so well, forgiving you a minor typo, Billy, it was genus, not genius that you meant (but then again, why quibble over a miscellaneous, harmless, delighting, tiny little extra i...not me, said he, my muse ego ) Billy has gone gray dotted, but his dot, his comment, with gratitude, in me, he, lives for ever I feel gibberish coming on...

Gibberish into Genuis: 1st read, I thought it gibberish (2019)
DIGESTION When the temperature is raised Particles gain kinetic energy And collide at a greater frequency. The more particles that collide The chances of a reaction occurring increases. How many times have elbows rubbed In hallways, no matter how crowded Yet nothing happens, Nothing precipitates, Not even a cough Or a wandering shot From the corner of their eyes. People pass By or away And yet hallways are still full; Full of thoughts of other people Full of longing Full of the people who are missing. USE OF ELECTROLYTE The addition of an electrolyte Reduces the coulombic repulsion Produced by a solution’s ionic atmosphere; An electrolyte allows ions to interact more freely. A full bus is void of tension. A stranger who writes letters everyday, But crumples the paper before finishing Is completed by the person Who eagerly awaits a text on their phone. A person with a bouquet of flowers Catches the eye of someone lost in thought. So many people who compliment one another, Or an other, Sit idly on a moving bus Separated only by people Who, too, are separated from their second piece. You meet such people everyday Who could have been, Yet are not. CO-PRECIPITATION Something that is generally avoided. An impurity that co-precipitates with the product Can cause an overestimation of analyte. Impurities can be caught within The crystal lattice structure of the compound Or trapped inside a growing crystal. It may be hard to understand Such thoughts still seem foreign But I, too, have things that I remember dearly. They are wrapped up with Lists of groceries, and formulas About distance and its relation to Speed and its change over time. It is all just things that have Come to pass. Such memories are hard to keep When there is only one who articulates them, But I am sure Perhaps years from now You’ll catch yourself thinking For a split second And then go about your day. PEPTIZATION The breaking up of precipitate Due the loss of electrolyte Which strengthens the ionic atmosphere Around the analyte. In line at a bus stop A glimpse is caught Of the oncoming bus And people shuffle As the line moves up. Never again Can the same people Line up the same way For the same bus We are too fragile To construct ourselves in such a way Where we can meet again. Fate is too frail Someone must leave Leaves must fall But someone always stays.

So many lives in an essence of mind the possibilities endless there are so many of me I don't know which one to give life to I'm like a deer in the headlights starring down my inevitable fate how funny we should die together
