In a bloom that ripens you never have to rush, O glory Amaranthine, amarantos, a holy hush, Beauty unfading an ever that lasts soft to open, Somehow you never wither blossom in a wind, Age to age passes us by alive you are the same, If others could only see you as I do what flame, I feel it in a shady sun a close your eyes & hum, In a smallest simple never done -- perfect plum, It's more than never changing ever w/you bare, Some mornings lay me awake--I can only stare, Then a break-through-moment breathes me by, All the world's a memory inside me as we sigh.

In a Bloom that Ripens
Hidden in the shadows In the light of the moon Is a secret born in the inception time The whisper of legends The Truth in the tale Alive within dreams A reflection of souls dancing Diaphanous in the rays of the sun Like lingering cold As mist succumbs to the warmth of morning Never to be found when looking Unseen in plain sight Wrapping its equal In a swaddling of peace Only to be known as two become one A whole felt before Only in the shadows of dreams Eternal by design Known in this realm As a myth, as magic But this is the only truth Created as one soul We are all that there is

Soul's Amaranth
Come Moroccan blue, Wrought a Tokyo twilight; The tangled neon, Guangzhou, Ought London fog or gloom – Entity’d ‘ever end with me. So when gods plays jokes Come a second near and nigh, I’d nearly utter, “amen,” Atop a belly, soon and son’s first cry – I am a father; above, eternity’d grin. So my plane kisses pavement, tepid, Wrought one mother waiting; and All I’d ran from, all abandoned, Is now the only that’d welcome. I’d never thought to nest, and yet – Arrived, with straw in mouth.
