Today in the midst of night,
I don't know whether I am right,
It's not a normal fright,
Sometimes get exhausted by life but sometimes feels like habituated
I don't know about this insane thoughts,
But life is tough enough so I'm gonna stop this stuff

Do you think of me in the middle of your day?
Does listening to a certain song trigger your painful memories of me?
Do you see a certain image, a certain brand, a certain place and I appear inside your cluttered head?
Do you think of me when you're alone in your room?
Staring at the darkness of your ceiling, reminiscing my crooked smile and abrupt laugh?
Does it cause a rippling effect inside your chest
Remembering all the perfect memories we're created together?

Do you regret what you've done to me?
Knowing we're strangers and that's on your end of the blame,
all fingers pointed towards you.
Do you regret what you've done?
Knowing I will always deeply resent you until my last breath,
Knowing I will never call out your name like I use to before,
Knowing I will never smile and bright up the moment I see you walk in the door,
And knowing we'll never, ever share that type of love we once had before?

Do you regret what you've done?

Do you regret losing me?
I hope you feel it all.

YOU DO NOT GET TO WRITE ABOUT ME
YOU DO NOT GET TO APOLOGIZE BECAUSE YOUR WOUNDS DIDNT JUST LEAVES SCARS BUT STITCHES
YOU FIGURE OUT HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO MOVE ON WITHOUT YOU
YOU FIGURE OUT HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO BREATHE WITH YOUR FINGERS WRAPPED AROUND MY NECK
sorry for the angry poetry guyz

Because you interpret what you want,
not what I meant.

Don't like my poems because...
You think they color me in a light
that is easier to accept.
I am, what I am, all things-
My past, present
None of it I regret.

Don't like my poems because
you think I'm a genius.
I am just a 22 year old girl,
struggling to type this two minutes
before you will read it.

Don't like my poems because
I am pretty.
Well thank you.
But there's SO MUCH MORE
to anyone of us
But I really am grateful.

Don't like my poems because
you want me to like yours.
I probably will, already do,
I love all verse.

Don't like my poems because
I said do not like them.
I am human,
doing my best
and these words...at least I get them out
most insecurities, doubt, and humanity
**fight them
It takes courage.
Pat yourself on the back for trying, guys.
